Post subject:  Letting a girl go nicely

Ok, this girl I've been seeing was just torn up the last time I saw her. I could see the look of hurt and pain on her face. She couldn't deal with a non-exclusive relationship with me.

So, I told her I'd make her my one and only. The problem is, I don't really think I want this right now. She's great, but this isn't the time for me. I figure I'll give it a try, but if I start getting the level of AA that I had before I got into pick-up, I'm either gonna have to be a a whimpy little beta male with her or dump her and get back into the game.

Anway, is there some way to creep them out REALLY REALLY bad after they're in love with you???? Like, i don't know, maybe, murder a small kitten or something and laugh like you enjoy it? That way, she's loses all attraction for you and even though she might miss having you around, she loses sexual attraction for you and therefore she gets out of it with no feelings of heartbreak???

Does anyone have a strategy like this?

Honesty is the best policy.

She's attracted to you because you are in charge and know what you want. Tell her what you want honestly, pulling some prank to get her to hate you paints PUA's as scumbags so please don't do that. Remember you are not here to learn how to be a jerk to women and that is what you will accomplish by what you're asking. The same way a female would let you down easy and break up, do it with her and don't fall for all the drama.

"I thought I could be exclusive with you, but I am not at that point in my life to be exclusive with anyone, I hope you understand".

" I am not ready for the type of commitment you are asking from me"

" We need to slow down, you're trying to take me down a path I am not ready for"

" We just met, we do not need to be so serious so early on"

Any of those should work.

Well, I understand what you guys are advocating. Honesty usually is the best policy, but not always. To every rule, there's an exception. For example, honesty with government and corporate america is often NOT the best policy.

As I see it, heartbreak is a combination of two feelings: missing someone who was in your life and no longer there AND a feeling of rejection...both emotions at the same time = heartbreak. Missing someone is probably the smaller of the two ingredients...the rejection is what really hurts, in my opinion.

There aren't many feelings worse than hearbreak. Rejection by a girl you dated a few times is almost as bad, but when you were close to the person, and they reject you, it's really bad.

I guess what I'm saying is, if she rejects me because of something I do to totally creep her out, she gets out of it without the major ingedient of heartbreak, which is rejection. She might miss having me around, but she's lost sexual attraction for me because I creeped her out.

I don't know if this makes sense to anyone else, but if it were me and I'm totally smitten with a woman, I'd rather her run me off by doing something really weird than to tell me the truth and reject me pesonally. Lke for example, if she shows the really horrible side of herself that I've never seen before, like SCREAMING at her children and calling them names while she's on the phone with me. Or maybe if she just takes up smoking cigarettes out of the clear blue. Those actions would repel me and I'd choose to dump her and I'd get out without any feelings of rejection. I'd much prefer a chick dump me that way, but then again, that's just me.

I hate feelings of rejection and I can't imagine anyone would want to experience that if there was another way out.

Besides, there are SO MANY ways to blow it with a chick. It shouldn't be that hard to get her to reject you when in reality you're rejecting her...maybe both parties can get out of a relationship without heartbreak this way.

Dude, being an asshole around her will only make it harder for both of you.

If this is true, then you have problems with your inner game. Strong inner game takes rejection and uses it as fuel to become even better and stronger. What you are talking about is childish and not very mature. Mature people can accept the truth and move on. High school kids play those types of games that you are talking about.
