During the school week, I'm usually very, very tired. I always end up staying up late for whatever reason, and wake up with 5 or less hours of sleep. Have any of you guys seen your game lack when you are tired? I'm wondering if I should go to bed earlier, it would probably make waking up a lot easier too... |

Yeah man for sure. My game has suffered greatly sometimes when I can't sleep. I'm not in the right frame of mind when I haven't slept. Dude seriously just try to get more sleep, not just for your game, but in general 7-8 hours.. I know school can be tough. I'm in the same boat with classes this semester, but I try to get at least 6 hours some nights.. |

Without a doubt. When you're tired, your body and everything in it works slower. Sleep is the brain's way of managing everything you've taken in all day, and if you only give it 5 hours (which I am also guilty of often) it doens't have all the time it needs to be prepared for the next day. There are countless other benefits of good sleep, go to somewhere like www.zenhabits.com or other personal-development blogs for good tips on falling asleep earlier, waking up earlier, deeper sleep, etc. |

If you've guys have never banged nails in 100+ degree temps for 10 hours a day, 6 days a week, 365 days a year, or driven a tractor trailer long distance for 3 weeks at a time, barely scraping by and getting a few hours of sleep a night you don't know what tired is. Yep, women just don't get it. Like every job that's worth having is in the air conditioning, working 8 hours a day hitting keys or something. Maybe some truth to that. But then not all of us have such luxuries or connections. As for school, do the best you can bro. Because getting your degree and being successful will bring you more women than sacrificing it all for the short term now, then living a life of virtual slavery for a pittance. Yep you heard that right a pittance. Not very many women attracted to men who make a pittance and work and are tired all the fricken time for it. If it's sleep or women, I say you should come first in your life. And as usual keep a well maintained relationship with your dominate hand, until its smart to do otherwise. No shame in having good survival skills. |

Yes. As with any other activity you do while you are tired you will not do it as well when your exhausted. I recently finished college and am working on getting myself out of that crazy routine of staying up days in a row or sleeping in on weekends. If you really wana do your best in school and with gaming, change your lifestyle...start a positive sleep routine, force yourself to goto bed at a reasonable hour, goto bed and wake u same time every day regardless of whats goin on (excluding of course, when you go out to sarge). I am seeing these changes in myself without trying |

See, last night I got less than my regular 5 hours. There was a fight outside my apartment at 2AM, so my roomie and I cracked open some beer and sat on the balcony to watch it. It was mostly an hour of BS, but there was a little bit of swinging in between. We were laughing our asses off, but I really didn't want to wake up this morning. I forced myself out of bed and went to class, and almost fell asleep in History (my only class with decent-looking females in it, thank you engineering). Because of this, I didn't really open anyone. Gah, tonight I'm going to bed at 10... ha. |

If you like to stay out late just take a nap during the day and have an energy drink or coffee in the morning.

I usually try not to take naps so I can sleep easier. But I think I'm going to go take one now, since I got out of lab early and have time to do my homework later. Most of the time, during the week, I just stay up and watch random shows on TV. Its not anything important, I just don't force myself to go to sleep. That will be changing, not just for my game but for my health as well. |

Naps are great..Take advantage of such free time as much as possible. It is my opinion that humans are biologically predisposed to taking naps. |
