I would focus on improving your open. Your question, what rank are you today, calls for a one word answer. How about, "what got you interested in dancing" or something more open ended. Listen to her answer and build off that. For example, if she say, "Oh, I've been dancing since I was 3" you can say, "Wow, I really admire that about you that you've stuck to the same thing for so long." Then you can talk about something you've been putting a lot of time and effort into in your life, and how it felt to improve over time, go through stages, whatever. I would not, however, brag about your life long devotion to improving your PUA skills.
She might not like that. Make a list of other possible open ended questions to get your mind thinking that way. The answer to your question should tell you something new about her, something you can build on.
