wow, its International Talk Like A Pirate Day and i'm lovin' it
and ontop of that, it was pajama day at my HS, so i had some great peacocking going. Plaid, lime green pajama pants with a button down shirt and my hemp necklace that i use to hold my pens :-p
I seriously think i talked to about half my school today. I opened with a simple "Argh" or a "Where do pirates go to get a drink?......the bAAAARR" or even "When do pirates make a wish?......when they see a shooting stAAAAARRRRR" I got a lot of blank stares, but i just mentioned they had no holiday spirit, and moved on. by the end of the day, even the teachers were celebrating with me
i had about 8 HBs come up and say they liked my pajamas, and then walked through the halls with me chatting.
ended up with 4 new phone numbers for girls i've never met before
AND while editing a classmate's composition paper, i decided he must know about PU, cuz the entire narrative circled around it. he mentioned the 3 second rule, not using pick up lines, not acting interested, bouncing and moving the set, not buying a girl drinks, and one-itus. it was impressive...
ahhhh, what a wonderful day
if any of you are i need of material for the rest of today, i would highly recommend pirate day.
