here's a problem i just encoutered last night:

Its with a HB 8.5 who i really like, though have never met alone, is best friends wit my ex. Shes one of those ppl that you always bump into and we have a great time when we do.

talking on msn, and it got to this:

Me- i'm in town on monday, do you want to join me? (not in these words)
HB- dno
Me-well fuck off then (in these words just to see how shed react)
HB-well WAT do you want me to say after what i've heard you say about me?!

Me- WTF are you banging on about
HB- Fred said that you said to George that you think i fancy you and you're just lapping it up!

---I'm frantically thinking who is Fred and I don't remember telling anyone anything---

---then i work out quickly that Fred used to go out with her along time ago but isn't frends with me but is frends with my good friend george---

Me- I haven't spoken to George in 3 weeks! (truth)
HB-well it might Fred making things up, in which case fair do's

---i dont buy this crap that she's gonna believe wat she just said, so being on msn which is instant i had to think quickly, n the only thing i could think of was the truth---

Me- look i'll be honest yea, this makes me sound like a average frustrated chump but i do like you, so i probs did say something to George, but nothing in offense to you.

HB- i'm sorry, and thanks :D

Conversation then continued a little about bs. Bloody cockblocking Fred. All of this wouldn't have happened if he didn't make up some shit.

HB- well i think i have hockey on monday, if i'm free i'll let you know

What would you guys do/say if in my situation?! You think i should call her? or wait....ARGH.

I don't get it really.

One thing i did notice though is you asked her to join you which is probably a no-no for most PUAs.

It's got to be like i'm going to be at a starbucks some tomorrow around your area, I'll have some time to kill before I go "make up excuse" join me if you want.

you know the whole. time-bridge and false time constraint and your excuse can be a DHV story.

like "got to help my friend think of some ideas for this new club he is running"

ALSO

when she said she dont know and you said fuck off that was a huge turn off for her.

NEVER LOSE YOUR COOL!

girls are constantly testing you to see if they can get a rise out of you to see how much you care or how much they can toy with you.

if you lose control then they will walk all over you and know that they now have power over you.

Looks like this Fred is a bad man...

But,more than likely,Fred was probably away in his home,thinking about how much he hates his boss,rather than thinking about anyone else,only brought up by you're wonderful HB as a...drumroll please...

You could try, as BlackBull said, if she gives you a date on monday to try and revamp your whole persona and attempt to win her back. But I doubt she will even give you a chance. Sorry if thats blunt, but, its most likely true.

However, if she doesn't say anything about going out. Move on. Plenty of other fish in the sea.
