I work retail at a shop and am constantly seeing hbs come and go. whats the best way to pick up someone without sounding like i'm trying to sell something or "doing my job"? has anyone ever been in this situation before? |

No, really, be good at your job. Sell yourself along with the female accessories. And use the girl's vanity to your advantage. Try to sell something. Sound cocky. Use half-compliments while selling clothes or perfumes to drop the hint: "Very well chosen, ma'am! If I saw you on the street with the [...] you just bought, I might let you ask me on a date..." Half of the hint is body language. Now, this is not going to get you immediate results, but I think the ladies will remember that cute, funny clerk. It will help you further with your salesman skills, give you a little bit of social proof, and if you wait long enough for the effect, it will bring you a lot of game. |
