Post subject:  Workshop

Well after being in this community for over a year and reading shitloads of
information on this stuff I finally took a workshop last week.
Before I talk about the workshop and my progress I will just give you
a bit of background information on myself. I consider myself to be above average looks am 22, 6 foot 1 have a pretty lean build. I was always shy growing up didn't have a lot of friends and used to be pretty intimidated by women up until a couple of years ago.
At the beginning of this year I had not even kissed a girl, but since then I have kissed four girls which I have met mostly through friends or they have basically picked me up.
I was pretty nervous before doing my first approach at the workshop, (it was a five or six set if I recall) so my coach told me to just
do the opinion opener then leave, it turned out that they were Irish girls here on holiday so they were pretty receptive. After that I learned pretty quickly and had some pretty good sets.
Some of my sticking points: Closing, I kind of lack confidence with number closing and kiss closing girls when I have past hook point and in the rapport stage. I also tend to talk too fast when opening and not loud enough.
Lastly just some observations I have made after the few times I have been sarging: The places where the best sets seem to occur were not too loud or crowded. The better looking girls seemed to be more receptive and open to me than the plain looking girls and lastly the classier the bar, the better the sets went. I remember having a great conversation with a hot 30 year old in this classy lounge during the workshop. Any input would be greatly appreciated guys.

It was www.datingworkshops.com. I was with the main coach and CEO of the workshop Alex. He has been teaching workshops for about three years now and has met a few of the leading guys such as David D, Tyler, Juggler, Badboy etc. I'm not sure if the company is that well known outside of Australia.

Hey Johnny
it's good that you're making progress. I heard Alex is a great guy.In fact I'm thinking about taking one of their workshops.
So can you give us more information about that? If you had read books about PUA before that, had eny experience in the field etc, and if the workshop actually paid off and you made some progress. Post it here or PM me.

I think the most important thing is not the workshop itself but the decision to change and try something new. If you're determined to change then you will. They can't transform you into the best PUA in one night but if you're willing to apply this into your everyday life for a while then you WILL get results that you couldn't even dream of.

Well before the workshop I had done very few cold approaches. I had a lot more confidence in myself since entering the community. I attracted more girls because I was more confident within myself and knew how to create rapport, but I did not have much confidence with speaking to girls that I did not know.
Yeah Alex is a great bloke, a few hours into the workshop I felt like I had known him for ages. The workshop started at 7:30, the briefing normally goes for about a couple of hours but because I already knew quite a lot of theory so I went out into the field and started putting it into practice.
So I think you should go for it, the workshops are pretty cheap compared to a lot of other ones going around, you will learn a lot and will have a great time. (let me know what you do, how you go)

PS I am looking for a good wing, someone who can push me and ideally have the confidence to open a set and create rapport so if there is anyone in Adelaide just let me know, or even if anyone comes over here for a holiday I would love to sarge with you.

Well I was actually thinking of coming to Hobart sometime to wing with you guys, which is the reason why I joined your lair.
As for the women here, I haven't really travelled a lot but my dating coach did tell me during the workshop that they were pretty friendly and easy to open as opposed to some of the bars in Sydney where he comes from.
It would be good to meet you guys, I can tell by the quality of your posts that youse are by no means just a couple of nerdy keyboard jockeys. So if you ever have some free time you should come down here sometime.

Ha yeah we like to think not :P The women down here are not top notch admittedly. But I think it is a good training ground. You go up to sydney, In particular I remember staying in Wollongong for a week and it astounded me the amount of HB's everywhere! Still if you are ever in the neighbourhood man let us know. We can show you the town.

You just have to know where to look Giac! But the amount of bogans does beat the numbers of HB's with ease sadly. And it'd be sick to have you down Johnny Prince! Just tell us a bit in advance so we can set some organise some stuff!
