| Post subject: | Getting out of a slump |
Just a quickie post really. I have been in a slump over the past few weeks. My day2s have been bad and my phone game is poor. I'm not sure if the problem is that I am bored with my practised material or that I am trying to remember too many things at once and hence am managing none. Having been gaming for a few months I feel like my game got better and has now hit a dip. I'm sure there are other people out there who have experienced this sort of thing. What did you find helped best? Should I back over my practised routines and sharpen them up, or should I be bold and keep trying new things? Thoughts very welcome. |

Blow through your slump. It's actually not a slump, that outlook is extremely pessimistic and unproductive. If you change that perspective to seeing your current situation as a plateau, your increased your skill alot in the past few months, now you've leveled off. How do you gt through it? Blast through it, continue to sarge, be bold, try new things, sharpen your skills, learn to improvise more than relying on canned material. You'll be fine. |

You need to work on your inner game dude. Your phone game and day 2s have been bad because: 1. You allowed past failures to affect you too much that it lowers your confidence. 2. You depend too much on those routines and at the same time, trying to absorb too many things at one go It's not the problem with the routines. It's just you. For the next week, train yourself to be more confident, just relax and don't think about those routines for the time being. Then you can start all over again after you get hold of your inner game. Remember to train your body language, eye contact and voice tone too. Don't push yourself too hard too fast. Focus one thing at a time. Soon you'll realise you are improving slowly but steadily. And the rest of the pieces will fall in nicely. You will do fine dude |
