Post subject:  Reveal flaws to a women?
How do you go about revealing flaws to a women once you have been dating her and know she is into you? we all have flaws (physical and mental) and I know there are lots of people out there who have flaws they dont want the other person to know about in fear the women will be unattracted to you If she finds out. How do you go about revealing flaws to women?

You don't. Unless they are severely hindering your relationship, telling a woman her flaws will only get you bitched out....and she will never forget it. It will always be in the back of her mind and she will bring it up one day and throw it back in your face.

This is dangerous territory. What I do, or have learned to do through fucking up :wink: is to reinforce positive behaviors and characteristics you find attractive. So if you are dating a girl who may be a little over-weight lets say, if you find a picture of her when she was skinnier, you can say "Wow, you look great in this picture." That way you are complimenting her, but at the same time saying you would not mind her getting back to that weight.

Sounds like you have something specific on your mind tho. What is it?

eventually your flaws are going to surface in a relationship. i wouldnt reveal them early on, but i wouldnt hide them. if you are in love with someone, and that person loves you too, you will both accept each others flaws.

u just have to let it out when the time is right... if she isnt accepting of them, oh well, she would find out in the end anyway. if u are looking for something just physical, then i would not reveal any flaws!

I'm 99.9% sure he was talking about HIS flaws....

btw, I think revealing insecurities is a great way to advance comfort... If she's the only one in the world who knows you're afraid of _____....

Ye I was talking about my flaws....and I have heard many other men talk about there flaws and insecurities....but no one has a guide on how to reveal them to a women. For example I was at one time over weight and have stretch marks all over....I now have a great body! I am muscular, about 7% body fat, and have an amazing body that I can be proud of because I work hard! but I am always self conscious about the stretch mark / scars.....Im always afraid to show a women these for the first time.

I see. Ok well that changes things. Girls are a lot more forgiving I think when it comes to these small things. So you used to be fat, and now your not, thats awesome man. Just tell her your stretch marks are like little trophies, lol. Would you prefer to be fat again and not have marks?? If you dont treat it as a big deal, she wont either. Girls pretty much go with the flow, or the stronger frame. Dont worry about it so much. Remember- trophies. "What cant be cured, must be endured" no sense in stressin.

One thing I do like to talk about are my past flaws and about how I have changed. Makes for very good DHV and life stories. But anything too current, that makes you unattractive don't mention it until she really knows who you are and by that time she will find out herself.

I do believe people have certain flaws that can be considered good at times for example, I am egoistic. Saying that can mean two things either you are arrogant and you don't care for anyone, or you are just a lone wolf that is very independent and responsible. Etc. See what I mean?
