I have been out sarging a lot more recently...showing a newbie the ropes. And as I do it...Ive come to realize how bored I have become with the game. I see a girl who I should approach, but there is a lack of motivation for me. I know that I can spit out an opener, talk to her, get her number and so forth, there is no longer an interest to do so. It is not approach anxiety, but rather the game has lost its novelty. It no longer has that challenge or fun to it. I remember being an AFC and trying to talk to a girl was this exciting thing. Where my heartbeat was racing and I was really nervous. I felt horrible but at the same time it was fearfully thrilling. Now that I've gotten over the fear its kinda boring. What do you guys do to make it more interesting? I am not saying throw a bomb in the set and so you can defuse it for excitement. Just something to keep it interesting and fun. |

I am not a master...far from it. This is more a matter of feeling or lack thereof when sarging. |

I wouldn't exactly call this a case of apathy. Not by far. However I know the feeling. When you first get into sarging and going out its fun, mysterious and down right exhilarating. Then you get into a groove, and lose your momentum, everything becomes pre-programmed. My suggestion is to try a few routines that you haven't before. Get some new openers, just field test. It throws excitement in. Beyond that I don't know what to tell you. |

I know Bro, it was a poor attempt at sarcasm, you know what they say, its the lowest form of wit. Just keep your chin up and i sure hope whatever it is then you snap out of it. I usually offer advice on this type of thing but i really dunno what to say man other than, It will pass....... or wait a minute...... This isnt THE CONSTIPATION FORUMS!!!!??? |

My suggestion would be to take a break. If it's not fun anymore, don't do it. It's started to become a chore, and that's not why we're here. Just lay off the game for a bit, wait it out, and when you get back into it, you'll get that rush of Approach Anxiety, feel the flow of a good conversation, pull a couple of numbers and be on top of the world. This shouldn't be a job, man. It's like a good video game. I'll use Final Fantasy as an example. Final Fantasy is hours of good fun, but when I'm grinding through the later levels, I find it loses some of it's flavour. I put the controller down, walk away, do something else for a few hours, and when I come back to it, I'm having fun again. It's a game. Enjoy it. |
