Post subject:  Ok Tell Me What I did Wrong? - cAkewalKs First PUA Set
Ok, so after much reading, I gathered up the courage! - i decided to head out to the mall. I could not sit at home hoping to rid myself of (AFC) syndrome, by solely reading. I needed practice & i knew that. As i was heading to the mall, I tried to talk to as many girls as possible along the way - kinda to pump me up for the "big" set. i didn't try to get numbers at this time. So anyways I head to the mall looking to try out the opinion opener. i thought what better place than a womens clothing store. I spotted one HB7.5 and one HB5. I had my eye on the HB7 of course!!. So I walked in here is the script from the scene, please be very critical and judge heavily, because I hope to get this right!


cakewalk: (browsing through the women clothing tops)

HB 7.5 : hey how are you may I help you today (alone with the HB 5)

cakewalk: yeah actually can i get your opinion on something? (smiling)

HB 7.5 : (smiling back) yeah

cakewalk: I'm looking for something for a friend of mine, she's about your size, but a little slimmer) (neg).

HB 7.5 - hmmm does she work out or anything?

cakewalk - No i don't think so,

HB 7.5: (pulls out a shirt) how about this one? I have this one!

cakewalk - (long stare) no i don't think she'll like that

HB7.5 (smiles and tries harder to get me to agree on something)

HB7.5 (takes me over to the clearance rack "these are nice and are on sale too!)

cakewalk: I wouldn't want to get her something cheap now would I? (smiling)

cakewalk - I think she'll like something bright and colorful - why aren't you wearing something colorful? like me it's a nice day outside today.

HB: (laughs & smiles), mentions something about her fav. color.

cakewalk: your favorite colors green? that weird me too.

cakewalk: wow really sucks that you have to work in here on a day like this.

HB: i don't mind -pause- I'm free tomorrow

cakewalk: (i knew i was supposed to say something here)

cakewalk: Thanks a lot for your help, I'll have another look around. (really, really small store).

cakewalk: (pretends he got a phone call from my buddy saying that he's found the perfect gift.)

cakewalk: Looks like my friend has found something for her in another store, I'll have to go check it out now.

cakewalk: can i have your number in case I need your help again (damn i f'up there)

HB: sure, she gives me the store number instead)

cakewalk ( I'm thinking damn ? was i not clear enough)

cakewalk: did you know your nose wiggles when you talk?

HB: (smiles) - really? I've never heard that one before

she hands me the number to the store on a peace of recipet paper.

cakewalk: hey can i see that pen for a momment,

HB: yeah sure

I write my number down on the bottom half - rip it off and give it to her.

HB: (smiles) thanks

cakewalk: (exiting the store) yeah you can ball that up and throw it away i don't care.

Ok, so how bad was i? , i know i was bad & goofed a lot. What could i have done or said differently? because the girl was obviously interested.

Well for a moment I thought you were kidding about being AFC haha. Then I read further. Well, the main problem is you load on the negs a bit thick. Not originally, it was after your mistake that it happened. You began using negs in desperation and eventually, neg'd yourself.

Nice Try Actually, If this is Your First MOve in this "game" world i would risk my neck to say it was perfect. First Off all Remember You didn´t Fail There is no Failure There is only Feed back, Ok?


Ok YOu Applied Teh NEgs ina right way thought, You could Blast her Of With Some Dhv, You almost lacked Of DHV, Ok YOu opened the set right, plus she works at the store that means that when she is hellping You actually there is no ASD, so It could be batter if u Had built some rapport, cause obviusly she found a out that u were flirting with her in that momment Her ASD went on and U didnt know how to handle it.

And Of Course, YOu could Run some C&F When she told YOu she was Availabve the next day, something Like:
Sov: Hey Im Just asking For HElp , not For a DAte, I´ll Give U a Tip : (whispering loud) if u try harder the next time i´ll take U out (Smile)


Aslo U could Ad some Basic NLP (GEstures) specifically though i tell u it Was Fine For the first time.

Remember DHV is Very Important its one of the main Differences between an AFC and a PUA, THe AFC does not offer anything, But The PUA is Everything she is missing.

Here we go:

1) If that was your first go at, your going to be fine. You did better than a good 80% of the people I've taught that exact same basic game-plan. So keep it up.

2) First thing I noticed. You approached the hotter one first. You don't always have to approach the girl you want to game directly if she is in a group. This doesn't mean never do it, but if you feel confident enough, try opening to the both of them, this way your approach is non-threatening in even the slightest way. By including both of them, you have now not only the attention of one person, but her friend/coworker/female talking buddy's attention as well. In which you gain two important things towards your game: More social value because more people have their eyes on you, and, the much needed approval from a friend/coworker/female talking buddy (women work like this, their peers always help with consent) Bottom line is you have the approval of her friends and/or peers, you have or very soon will be getting her approval. So if you feel up to it, try opening some sets like that.

3) Good negs woven into the conversation, but you went to far with the nose twitching. I would have stopped with the color neg. You had her attention, no need to neg anymore unless she shows resistance or tries to get you to jump through a hoop.

Honestly, ya blew it, you had her, but ya blew it. I couldn't even tell you how many times I've done this and just said the wrong thing when their could have been 1000 other ways to play that out. That will fade with experience, everyone makes that mistake when they are starting (if they even got that far). It seems like you weren't prepared,thats all. So be ready with what you will respond to that, theres plenty of ways.

Example:

What day of the week was it? If today, say something like. "Well you better switch your schedule cause I'm free on friday.", "Too bad, I'm busy until the weekend", (If it is going to be nice out the next day, and this is a good thing to know, even a few days in advance, so you can plan an instant date.) "Well it is going to be nice tomorrow, wanna go (insert good date here)" Etc, Etc, Etc, those are some off the top of my head, but like I said there are tons of things that can be said there. Just be ready next time.

5) The fake cell phone gig, I've done it a few times. Except now what I'll do is set and alarm on my phone (make sure it sounds like a ring, not an alarm) and use it as a fake time constraint. Or don't if you don't feel you need it and shes interested, and ignore it, showing her that you are slightly interested without actually saying it, also gives you more social value because you choose to ignore certain phone calls. All subliminally.

Yeah, ya did. Should have thought of something while you were having a fake conversation with yourself. Like another opinion question again, heres one: "Hey HB7.5, what would you rather get for your birthday present? Clothes (or whatever she was showing you) or (insert chick item: earings, perfume, shoes, blah blah blah)?"

And bang, you got her attention again, hit her with maybe another neg or another DHV. Judging on her reaction to the question and whatnot. See if you could have gotten back on the track you lost with not reacting to her invitation earlier.

Not necessary, in all honestly, she probably thought that comment was corny. I did. But like I said its great for first run. If your going to go ahead and try leaving her your number (works about 40% of the time but only if you made a good impression). Just leave it, and don't say anything. Trust me on that one, it just looks better.

8) Overall, that was good as hell. Just a few dumb rookie mistakes that most people run into much further in than their first set. Most first timers I've watched are barely confident enough to get to her just inviting herself like that. So good fucking job buddy.
