I am attracted to FOBs (i.e. women who grew up in Asia). I like them because they dress cute, appear more effeminate than American women and they have a sexy accent. Hence, I am focusing my efforts to find and attract them. Here are a few ideas (based on my experience with dating them):
Target rich environments: Boba shops, Cafes, English-Asian Language exchange clubs, ESL programs, International House (at a University), Asian markets e.g. Ranch 99, Chinatown, temples, and churches.
What Fobs are interested in: America trends, American music, football, your bloodtype, famous or handsome Asian Actors, ghost stories, drinking, drugs (i.e. weed), homosexuality, the local community (i.e. where to go), learning English.
Possible openers: Offer them to teach English in exchange for the language they speak.
For example:
"Excuse me for interrupting you like this, but I'm travelling to (Asian Country) in the summer and would like to learn (Asian language) in exchange for teaching English. Do you know anyone who would be interested in that?"
OR
Act like a local and offer them to show them around.
For example:
"Excuse me, you're an international student, right? This (Cafe, restaurant etc) is cool, but you really gotta check out (better place) down the street. I've been living here all my life and am willing to show you around, for a small fee of course haha."
