I'm very new to the forum and enjoying looking around but i havent noticed much discussion on the topic... I think its core to a sarge if you're going out with a wing. I'll summarise if its not well known outside here in Australia:

Puppet Theory is the notion that the lords (PUAs) shouldn't discuss approach tactics or analyse potential sarges while still in an active field. Excitement and amusement is key to being in furious form. The theory is that the beast (sarger) should behave spontaneously and "naturally" to open sets without prior conversation, forcing the puppet (wing) to also react spontaneously and without forethought as oppose to having time to pre-empt and contribute his own loaded conversation like a puppet on a string. The theory proposes that this will greatly increase both the lords' enjoyment and likelihood of success...

aka to go Puppet Style

anyone agree?

Heya Aussie boys. Discussing tactics mid battle is far too late to be effective, you lose your level of sponteneity, you shift from a interactive, friendly and humorous mind set to an analytical one. The only thing required once on the field is programming style unconcious tricks to play with the space around you.

So from a battle perspective, your dictating the quick actions on the field, not setting the battle plans and tactics.

Generally I collate and add material during the week and go on active field duty. Or AFD. And quick unconcious indicators, (similar to NLP, but using body language alongside the linguistic element. Or QUIs. while sarging.

In conclusion Seb, I agree with you.

Schnitzel.
