As I go through the forum checking the sections of "Newbie Questions" and "PUA Lounge", I get somewhat frustrated. Now it's very hard for me to write this, but I feel I have to, so please read, it's my thoughts about what this "Game" is about. Specially if you're a newbie, this is completely going to CHANGE your game, and SAVE you time; even if you are an expert, I'd like you to read, and I want your comments and opinions on this, if you know the game, you most likely will agree with me (or at least I hope so), If you can correct me, please do so (This specially goes for the big guys in this forum; Charge, Xfman, Impact, I want your comments; if I forget you and you think you're a big one too, forgive) I think we are in this community to help each other out, that's the whole point of it. Let's start doing it. So let's get started now, too much talking already. The reason why I get frustrated is because I see so many guys who are so enthusiastic about this game, and they are really learning things that will not take them anywhere (actually yes, to bad places). The seduction has so many products, so many companies, they all try to sell you things, they all compete over you, and they are in all their right to do so, but FEW (notice I say few, so there is some gurus who actually do it), teach you this: "This Game is about to make you better, not only with women, but also in other areas of life. This Game is something that takes time to learn, it has ups and downs. And most importnat, this Game is all about changing yourself to become attractive, not to base yourself on lines, routines, etc; this Game is meant to make the best out of yourself, NOT a social robot" Most of guys go wrong just about since the beginning, I will hear things like: "I opened up with the jealous girlfriend opener, but they answered to my question, and then turned away" (Reason: Poor body languaje, not according to the context, not adequate energy) "I was showing a DHV routine to this girl, she nodded but didn't sem to enoy it, I didn't number closed her" (Reason: Your routine probably is TOO fake) What you see in common? A routine, an opener, cool. Now, did they work? Nah. Do they work some other times? Yeah What's the difference? The girls? Nah, The PUA's? Yeah Some guys understand the idea of the game, your routines and lines should only help to maintain the conversation, and to convey some ADDITIONAL things about your personality, think of it, as a "Second-hand type of game". Your very first and best game is within yourself, it's your confidence, your beliefs, your personality, your body languaje" Here is my point: When guys start basing their game on lines and routines, they become someone else! and nobody teaches them that is wrong, that's what frustrate me. The more and more you look at openers and routines, the more you believe they are indespensable (I made this mistake myself too, of course) and at the end, you end up being this person, even worse from who you were to start with, THAT IS NOT THE POINT OF THE GAME The point of the "Game" is to take out your best self" Get it? I'll say that again "The point of the "Game" is to take out your best self" Newbies, don't make the mistake of basing on lines and routines ONLY, this will just dissapoint and you will waste a lot of time, these are the things that some gurus understand, but don't teach. If you're going to use lines and routines, coool. Use them but at the same time work on your personality, work on yourself. Do it. Wow, I feel better now, lol [/b] |

you know what? i'll usually dig deep into one guru's methodology at a time. right now i'm studying alot into TMM but i did notice meanwhile that i have neglected dealing with alot of inner game issues. david deangelo was pretty good when it came to that. execellent topic sir. |

Thank you, Yes as a PUA, I certainly recommend David DeAngelo for inner game, Swinggcat, and also Hypnotica, the inner guru game, and one more thing, I'm sorry, but what's TMM? |

the mystery method. some people refer to it as just MM but more recently i've seen TMM. come to think of it, theres to much abbreviation in the community lol. |

Romeo - I completely agree with you. I think you get it now - it is still about you! BE what girls want, don't just act (poorly) like you are PUA. There is no way of getting a girl with outer game only. But with your inner game great, you can make WONDERS. That are the "naturals" - they simply understand whole concept but ultimately, they have STRONG INNER GAME. You don't want to be "mini-papa" as written in The Game - the fake. This principle "fake it till you make it" is only good when you can deliver the material in the right way. Otherways its something like "walks like duck, but barks like a dog", so it is a dog who is only poorly imitating duck. Also, yeah, game changes you completely. You become what women want - and that is a guy with great body, great mind, great behavior, full of confidence; you become SOMEONE, not just NOBODY. So, only remains, Carpe Diem. |

Exactly, that's something that I forgot to mention, if you have read "The Game", notice how the main character; Style; mentions all his routines mainly, but also mentions he gets training for body languaje, posture, voice tonality, confidence, etc, but briefly (except for the Hypnotica chapter), and then several chapters later, when he is teaching workshops, he realizes he and Mystery were making "clones" of themselves, and how soon he would regret it. Remember the chapter of social robot? This is one of the things He meant. If that doesn't tell you something, I dont know what will. |

the reason why we have Social Robots is becuase many guys feel that the Approach is a crucial part of the game and if they have canned material their minds are free to do other things like body language etc etc.. and they feel they will get the most sucess from the popular routines and lines but i agree a focus on ones-self is why were here in the first place |

I am pretty new with this, I have been studying and practicing for about 4 months and sit back all the time and look at how much better it has made me. I have been focusing more on the Alpha Male side of things, Which has giving me alot of self confidence and Charm. I do agree that its about changing you. If you look at all the gurus Mystery, Style, Jugglar, David D. They are all very different styles but have similiar ideas on the game. I think to do it right you need to be creative and make your own life not copy others. But i am new at this... |

i know what you mean man, ive only been amongst the online community for a few days but i am all ready becomming sick of it. I see stupid posts about the most obvious errors and bullshit, its a waste of space and makes it alot harder to find the good threads. I do think alot of guys are relying way too much on canned material, that is a very bad thing to do. I always saw the game as a way to rise above the rest in confidence and to help people to understand my personality much easier when interacting with them. -good post keep it up Wiz |
