Post subject:  A hello and an opener I came up with

Just wanted to take a moment and say hello. New to PUA (only a couple of months) but its worked wonders so far. Can't wait to see where I am in a years time! I excel at opening and building immediate attraction and suck at prolonging the conversation (My best work is done in under 5 minutes, afterwords they tend to loose interest).

Anyways, now the "Dating Coach" opener.

"Girls - are you single?"

Usually, before they even get a chance to answer I move on. If they say Yes then just move on. I'll explain what to say when they say no in a minute.

"Great, I'm a dating coach and I'm going to introduce you to the most handsome guy in the club tonight... besides myself of course."

Do this in a formal voice so its obviously a joke. You've now disqualified them and undoubtedly captured their attention with the "dating coach" thing.

To the target:
"Tell me, what your size preference?"

If she answers with a penis size:
"Goodness, I meant height. You're obviously a total pervert."
If she answers with height:
"Uhm, I wasn't talking about height. Your a good girl aren't you..."
If she insists she's good:
"Thats too bad, I was starting to think you were cute."
If she disagrees and suggests she's bad:
"The only thing your bad at is lying about being bad"

From here, you can do cold reads or what ever. Make sure you pay attention to the obstacle as well. Hell, you can reverse it and apply it to the obstacle and make the target attention hungry. This also allows for a great opportunity to apply leader of men DHV. Get the obstacle a guy from the bar. Or, disqualify... offer the target to some other dude.

This is something you can really have a lot of fun with. I've field tested it a few times and it works best with a 2 or 3 set. I'd love to hear your thoughts and any adjustments.

A-Minor (the chord)

PS - if they say they aren't single "Oh, ok well I can help fix that problem (Make sure you DO NOT come off sleezy when you say that - smile!)

I don't like the way you went about your opener, primary because it was to long of a one. And that makes it one harder to remember and two you risk staying on the opener for to long and loosing interest from the girl. Saying that I do like the dating coach thing, as that is certainly can perk up the girls interest in you.

I'm just worried that when you say "Are you single?" they will assume you are an AFC and not play along with your cocky funny opener. You might think about using this as a routine after your done with a different opener. At that point it should work really well.

Guys, thank you for your insight. Lord knows, I've been wrong many times before, but maybe I didn't give the jist of this out properly.

The whole idea behind this is to be playful yet confident. The whole "are you single" AFC line is intentional. I lead them, potentially in one direction, and then reverse course. Furthermore, I don't ask like an AFC. My body language is good, but the line is "AFC" so again, mixed signals.

If I am concerned that the line is in fact AFC, then it will be.

Furthermore, I don't really wait for the girls to respond to my question. Though they have, if Im correct each time, said "yes!" with big smiles. Body language trumps all, in my humble opinion.

My spontaneous reaction was, too much interest and too much of a pick up line together with validating yourself as a coach... Comes off too strong IMO... But if it works for you in the field use it!

"Are you single?" is an AFC line, but what you follow it up with becomes important.

In short you are using straight up social engineering on the girl. Since that is the case I would make sure you ask the question in a playful manner with hint of "I don't really care if you are single or not".

There is nothing wrong with AFC lines, and at times they are better to use than PUA lines.

You should never dominate a conversation like that as it makes the girl feel like she is not part of the conversation. I won't say body language trumps all because even body language can lie. But I would say it can tell you a lot and certainly holds weight.

Well, of course. Its supposed to be playful.

Haven't we all seen mystery and cajun purposefully interrupt girls throughout conversations? Still, I see your point. But I don't know if I'd go so far as calling it a domination of the conversation, especially since it just started.
