So, my confident C&F attitude has frequently been getting me the responce from HB's (especially online, msn etc) of them thinking i love myself. Tbh, i dont know where this is coming from and it is starting to bug me now. Until now i have taken it as a shit test and beleive i have sorted it well. Cept SPAM i am going with the just ignore it response. I will give you an example of last night, i was talking to this girl whoes msn i got a few days ago, she is rather shy but still interesting. She was doing the typical "lol" response to things i was saying, fair enough they were funny but after an hour or so it gets tedious and i get bored of having to supply 90% of the conversation. Its not that she isnt interested, she has told me she is. Its not she cant have a good conversation, since she will chat about things she likes for ages. At this point thought it was time to tease her about this constant loling. "Oh stop giggling like a school girl just cos this cute guy is talking to you! Then she came out with it, about 5th girl in 2 weeks. "You really love yourself dont you" I ignored it, again. But it got me thinking this time, do i love myself? The problem is i just dont know, if i am honest yes i think i am attractive, i am intelligant, a leader, I have a kick ass life for fun and i am talented athlete. Now i dont rub it in peoples faces, but i dont keep it a secret i know i am high value. Now i take this as confidence, i dont like sitting around thinking how shit life can be. Basically any suggestions on my situation? Is it detromental to think highly of myself? /madals |

It was over msn, which is sort of why i couldnt work out how serious she was being. No girl has ever said it to me in person, and this perticular HB does has an issue with people being up themselves. I think it is because of her own low self confidence. I am always told i am confident and i have asked all my female friends (who are brutally honest with me Tbh, i am only looking for advice since i dont want to come off as arrogant. |

If the girl has LSE, it's fine to come off as arrogant. That can work in your favor with LSE girls. Just make sure you aren't hurting anybody. |

Normally i would agree chief. Cept she is a bit confusing, she is one of those people who is really self concious (teenage culture unfortunatly) but also incrediably confident when in her comfort zone. Its rather strange. And also i am not looking at this arrogant issue just for this 1 girl, i dont really give a second thought to what she thinks but its more a general self image. /madals |

You think you might have been being too cocky and not enough funny? That's a common mistake. In fact, it's not even a mistake. It's usually an entire bad PHASE that people learning DYD go through. I certainly went off the deep end in that phase before! |

Nope, i had plenty of funny. I wasnt even being that cocky, i am just generally confident. Its why i was confused, only a few C&F comments the whole time we have been interacting. I still have a day 3 with her and she seems not to have been bothered. I am half convinced there was something bothering her, since a fun think i like to do with day2-3's is suggest a really obscure colour for them to wear. Now i was going on her favorite colour at first then she complained every1 calls her barbie when she wears pink. Then the whole "you love youself" thing hit in, after i sorted it i went back to the game perfectly happily and fair enough she doesnt want to wear pink so i suggested anothe colour and she just flips with: "lets get this straight, i wear what i want ok". I then realised she was in a shit mood and thought i would leave it for the night, since it was out of her character and within 3 mins she started giving me IOI's and SOI's again Either way, thats just a specific. But its just generally trying to work out if i come across with a loving myself attitude. |

Oh, that was just you going against the rule of "the PUA is the exception to the rule." lol Every other chode gives her shit for wearing pink. She said so herself. Supporting her pinkness would have meant standing out from the crowd. I know I usually tell people to stop listening to what a woman says and start feeling what she feels, but there's not much else for me to work with here lol |

I think you misunderstood, I went agaisnt the idea because she legitamitly hates it. She was introduced through a friend and that is something that really pisses her off. Thus when she sasid about it i dropped it and moved onto something else. I am all for sticking to my guns but it genuinly makes her uncomfortable and there is no good in doing that! So its something she feels, but what suprised me was the outburst when i suggest orange Every other chode gives her shit for wearing pink. She said so herself. Supporting her pinkness would have meant standing out from the crowd. I know I usually tell people to stop listening to what a woman says and start feeling what she feels, but there's not much else for me to work with here lol Dw about that tho, its all sorted. I didnt take any notice of her little temper and thats why she started IOIing me right after. Back to opinon that i love myself tho..... /madals |

So any general advice on how not to come of as arrogant but still display confidence? or just get in a lot of funny to get a pure C&F game? |

You could make a joke about it being the one thing you two have in common I think it was from a song by The Streets: "We first met trough a shared view, she loved me and I did too" |

This happend to me yesterday while I was shopping with my lady friend at Victorias Secret. They have gift cards that say 'I love you' at the front. I looked at her and said " Damn, I should buy one of these 'I love you' gift cards and give it to myself." she laughed and said, "you really think high of yourself huh?" I just smiled... its was a lolercoaster kinda moment. |

Sexcellant, i like that line. Although normally the girls who like this sort of confident attitude wouldnt have said i love myself. I only get it from women who are high class who are normally a lot more "proper" and think everyone should be ever so modest about their achivements, skills etc etc. I.e, even tho i am on my countries bball team i should only say i am "alright" rather than when they ask tell them that actually i am good, i am on 3 teams..... |
