So, we moderators have been discussing adding a new moderator to our team in light of the changes PUAF is going through. Who do you guys think would make a good moderator and why? Yes, YOU HAVE A VOICE! We are looking for: >experience/expertise in pickup >mediation ability >positivity/value-giving >and stuff like that |

So I know this guy, Beschatten, he's a really cool guy. He's pretty good in the field, but even better in developing relationships. Here's his resume: PUA Since 01/2008 His game consists of Juggler Method, Gunwitch, Zan, In10se, David Shade and a slight touch of MM. Greatest accomplishment was making out with his cousin. I'm not too sure about his meditation ability, but he's pretty good with boosting inner game and little ways to improve self confidence. He can be an asshole once in a while though, but who isn't? He thinks like a chick so he reads them like Cosmo. He writes poetry. Goes to a decent University, plays guitar (American Tele Deluxe), half asian half german (what an awful mix so if I can do it anybody can), and has a pretty fucked up disfunctional family. My favorite cigarettes are Camel Lights and Marlboro Smooths. My favorite beer is Miller and I have HPV. Pass on the good word. |

I would feel up to it, but unless people really wanted me in as mod I don't think I would have the will to make the commitments. However, Beschatten gets my vote same with daziel (someone who's work I've admired for a while) Others would definatly be roads and white rose. |

The new moderator should be someone who the current mods think has the most potential to have an impact having an open debate about it could possibly lead to some hard feelings amongst other members.... |

I vote for Ka. I've enjoyed looking at his advice. Kinoescalator is a good one too. Haven't seen them posting much lately. Maybe because I haven't been looking in the right spots. |

Obviously we're looking for someone that has and will continue to spend a reasonable amount of time on the forum (this doesn't mean any particular number of hours a day or week even, but someone that doesn't dissappear for inordinate amounts of time). Also, a certain amount of "newb bs" will have to be put up with, as informing the uninformed is a large part of the job, including PMing members about forum rules when they break them and modifying threads as neccessary to keep things in order. |

Wow. Thanks for thinking of me Hobbit and CK, appreciate that. You've read the FRs, you know my style. I've taught free bootcamps, got some good reviews (here on PUAF). I'm also the only guy I know of whose target has read an FR and responded I give reasonable advice; I'd be lying if I said I wasn't proud of some of my threads (mPUA mindset, how to sarge yourself an educated pivot, negs breakdown). Perhaps I don't post a lot, but I'm regular - aside from holidays, I'm here 3-4 times a week. I also refrain from posting unless I'm making a good contribution. I will continue doing all the above whether chosen or not; at the same time, I'm prepared to put in the extra work required of a mod. That being said, the people that pop into my head are: Hobbit (he's an expert in areas most people don't know exist), Dalziel (I dig the guy's style), Beschatten (crazy in a good way), White Rose (words don't do him justice) and Locke (regular post, understands long-term game to the extent I've never dreamed of). I'd be pleased to see Ka or 3hands (though I havent seen him around lately) as mods too, their stories have been very inspiring to me personally. |

Hi guys, thank you Hobbit, CK for giving me consideration for this honor (and also for the dish on that David Shade audio Hobbit), I just want you to know that I am not interested in becoming a moderator here because I love being just one of the guys too much. Also, one day I might just disappear never to be heard from again, so that effectively places me out of the running. Chief I see some very deserving names being mentioned here, many of whom I consider friends and cohorts, but I'm sticking to my guns and going with the member I picked a few months back: JSmooth. I've talked to him a lot before, know his story, and believe that he's genuinely turned his life around completely while studying PUA. So with that unpleasant business between him and Brad now out of the way, he deserves serious consideration for becoming a mod. |

I have a feeling that he is already very busy with his work on another forum and I don't want to pull him away from that venture, unless of course he decided to for his own reasons. I doubt he'd take the position, cause he's pretty happy doing what he's doing right now from what I've seen.Chief I see some very deserving names being mentioned here, many of whom I consider friends and cohorts, but I'm sticking to my guns and going with the member I picked a few months back: JSmooth. I would say White Rose. This guy really helped me out with some of my problems or JSmooth also helped me out 2. So those are my picks. |

JSmooth rocks my world. It seems that all his posts are incredibly intelligent and relevant. He would make a great mod. He's pretty much already doing it without the power. |
