Following "The Game" which teaches that ppl choose the number 7, did you know that if you used cards, it's the 7 of hearts??? Repeating this trick, the second card guessed is the 3 of clubs! this works about 75% of the time.

Before you perform have the 7 of hearts ready in a top pocket, or perhaps, if your good with your hands  slip it in her pocket --->

You have to say it in a specific order:

Me: think of a number between 1 - 10
what is it?

She: 7

Me: now think of a colour of suit....what is it?

She: red

Me: now think of a suit in that colour
what was that card?

She: 7 of hearts...

Now show her the card.

If need be, repeat with 3 of clubs. tho remember, this is perfect opp for a neg hit, " don't be greedy".

Hope this helps you PUA magicians out there!

it is very true that 7 is picked most of the time.. but.. i don't know about using the 7 of hearts...

There is a method out there that is 100 percent guaranteed called "Collasal Killer" by Kenton Knepper..

Same premise.. but hits every single time...

And if you want to make it more dramatic and magical, i recommend an effect called The One and Only and Heirloom which both use the same prinicple, but have more of a story.

if you carry a deck of cards and show tricks to her with that deck you are a nerd, it's only good to do magic card tricks if theres a deck of cards "accidently" around

we'll.. it works out for me because i'm a professional magician..

if being a nerd is wrong, i don't wanna be right!

hey whokid, can anyone learn the fork routine or does it require great slight of hand? i've never been that smooth in that respect. do you recomend the spun coin trick too?

Author:  WhoKid [ Wed Mar 14, 2007 8:18 pm ]
Post subject:

I'm not a huge fan of spun..

It's a little risky in my opinion... maybe it just me :P

But as far as Liquid Metal, its not hard at all!

I've always been a card and coin guy, so it was new to me.

And forks are so cheap.. a dozen for about 2 dollars at any restaurant supply store.

Out of all his effects, Liquid Metal is my favorite...

Plus it has a cool story and good kino..

When i do the twist, it place the fork in her hand and hold her hang while i perform the twist...

WhoKid, looks like a sweet DVD, you know of any other website which sells it? It won't send to UK, or even allow me to put my UK address on it, which sucks. Or, do you know of any others which are on a different website?

does is actually work!? :S

hrm... that DVD is a exclusive from Penguin Magic, but I do know a store that carries it and may ship it...

But... i know its bad... but i did see it on eMule once...

Ill keep you posted!

The shop that carries it is called Rogue's Magic and Fun shop..

Another DVD on fork bending is by Banachek. Its called pyrotechnic silverware... very similar stuff.. you can probably watch that DVD and figure out the Liquid Metal routine.
