So I ended up telling the girl i'm on a break with, that I wanted to be back with her, even though it was only a day after the break started. I FAILED TO TAKE ALL OF THE GOOD ADVICE GIVEN TO ME. I was golden too, all the way up until the good bye when we were kissing and holding each other. That's when I cracked and told her I wanted her back. I FUCKED UP. Anyway, I feel like going cold-ish on her, just spreading out our visits and not making a big deal out of anything. Any other guidance? |

Try and play it off like you were drunk or something... Blame it on booze then freeze her out... If you have a myspace or facebook have a friend post a comment like you were soo trashed the other night (the other night being the one you told her you wanted her back) best of luck |

I assume that means you don't want to be back with her? It's easy to do when you're there - kissing ect emotionally charged moment. So you've been together for a year - is that long enough to be honest and say you jumped the gun? Or did she say no (interlinking your threads - the other says she isn't ready and you posted it since this one) You haven't gone into too much detail about what's been goign on, and I assume that's just information you don't want to share. So the advice will be rather generic. What I would suggest is a real break - no kissing and hugging. Don't speak for a week or three - texts/emails/phone calls included. I would suggest focus on other girls for that time but I feel I'd probably be wasting my breath, but the point of that would be to get your mind off her. There are many good reasons for doing this. Clear mind, refresh approach, time for forgiving, time to be missed... |

WHY do you say you fucked up? Did she get turned off by this, or did you not really want her back? If she wants you back as well, then you have not fucked up at all and I don't get your post. If you don't really want her back, well you probably shouldn't have said that and to keep things from getting completely broken, I'd just tell her you want to still be with her, but only casually instead of in a serious relationship, you just don't want to end it completely cause you still like her. If she got turned off by this, then just do a take away and wait a while before re-establishing things and maybe it'll work out.[/b] |

sorry for the vagueness. I want her back, but I also set the break. So I wasn't showing assertive leadership characteristics. She wants more 'days or weeks' to be alone. Our problem was that I was clumsy and indecisive, and this pissed her off like none other. She's got issues to work out and I have some sharpening to do, if we could do that, life would be perfect. |

lol lol lol. Freddy, what did I tell you? Anyways, stop posting about this broad. Just consider it over and move on. She isn't as in love with you as you think and she obviously has another guy in mind. So pick up your bags and ride another train. If she comes back, then awesome. If she doesn't, well that's even better-more hot chicks to make you fall in love with. You handed all the power over to her on whether you two will be in a relationship by saying "you wanted to be together". Now she decides it, and the only thing you can do is sarge other girls. Don't be cold-ish. It will turn her off even more and lose her forever. |

i disagree with some of these responses.. dont be a pussy and say u were drunk etc... make it seem like a relaxed good thing. like lucky her YOU decided that she can come bck.. take control! be payful and little DHV enhancing negs. if ur confident enough u could say something like.. 'you already had your chance with me' then joke and try set meeting/date thang |
