I'll begin with an example. When I was 18 I met a great girl that I began dating. We dated for 2 years then broke up. I was a mental wreck, I thought of myself as a victim. I had anxiety attacks, couldn't sleep, couldn't eat, just a depressed ass kid. But I wonder, what causes one person to act the way that I acted, versus just moving on and meeting new girls right away? I believe it is the mentality of a victim. The mentality that the way you feel was forced upon you by external forces. Identifying with your symptoms of pain and hurt, and believing that they are part of who you are. This is what I believe drove me into the hole I was in. Nothing that happened to me made me a depressed wreck like I was, it was me treating myself like a victim. How did I get out of the hole I dug myself in? I stopped treating myself like a victim. I stopped believing my symptoms were a part of me. The mentality of a victim could be our biggest hurdle to success. |

It is victim mentality and that tends to be a trait of people that have nothing going for themselves. So relationships tend to be their lifejackets. If you're at least relatively successful career wise and have a good group a friends, losing a girl wont be the end of the world. But if a girl is your entire world.. well. |

Its pure scarcity. If you're fired from a job and you have no other options or skills outside of the ones you learned at the job you will be a wreck. Not knowing how you will eat and provide shelter for yourself. If you know there are 15 other companies emailing you weekly waiting to hire you, you won't bat an eye after being fired. Now, you don't necessarily have to have other women, just the firm self believe and experience that says you could have them if you wanted or needed to. |

You need new hobbies and interests. Go to the gym. Thats a great hobby to have. Take up a sport or an instrument. Take a yoga class. Simply put, get a life. |
