This works for me 100% of the time, it works like a charm. I always ask the girl.

Me: Excuse me i'm sorry but I don't want to mis-pronounce your name. Can you tell me how you pronounce your name the way you like it?

Her:Jessica, but I like it when my friends call me Jessy.

You see you can even get added information with this one about the way she likes her friends calling her name. This never fails, I don't give a fuck what anyone says about this. I love it. 100% Jacked :lol: You see there are so many girls out there with names that can be pronounced so differently. Like this one time a girl I forgot her name, it was RACHELLE.

Me: Sorry but can you tell me how you like your name to be pronounced?

Her: Rachelle, most people pronounce my name like Rachel but I hate it. Its Rachelle.

Me:Ya I would of definitely been calling you Rachel thanks, Rachelle.

You see she pronounces it (Rah'chelle). I hope this helps people.

thats a good way to get her name but like mentioned above it can be exploited.

I on the other hand have a pretty DAMN good way of getting a chicks name. Lets say your out at the bar things are going good you forget her name. DO NOT try to get her name, instead work on the number. After you get her number and put it in your phone make a good exit.

You will want to call her 2-3 days afterwards. However the next day you need to get a female friend, cousin, sister, coworker whatever to call that number

Your Friend : Hey is this Julie?

Your Target : No sorry this is ______ you have the wrong number

BAM done.

Another way

Your Friend : Heyyyy Julie

Your Target : No sorry you have the wrong number

Your Friend : are you sure? who is this?

Your Target : ______

DONE

Now if you want points when you call her dont mention her name. Keep the whole name thing off subject, when you hang out next and it still hasnt been brought up she might say something like this:

HB : You dont know my name do you?

You : I cant believe you would accuse me of that

HB : Well what is it then?

You : ________ what do you got to say now ? (in a playful way)

She will be at your beck and call after you do that. Plus its a good way to restablish Higher Value.

Just to add this.
Most of the time, when getting her number,
I either ask her to write down her name and number,
or I hand her my phone and tell her to put it in.

Both normally result in getting the name.

Otherwise, I'll just ask an odd question.
Like, I'll bring up middle names and stuff,
or why parents name their kids certain things,
and ask something like:
"What's your WHOLE name... I'm talking middle name, last name, everything."

Or I'll get to talking about pictures, and how my driver's license pick is horrible.
Then, when she asks to see it, I pull the "I'll show you mine if you show me yours."

The driver's license one is the one I use most often...
although I make it a habit to remember people's names.
There are a few mind tricks that can be used for remembering these things.
Like associating the name with some image you come up with, etc.

All very good ways....me being Irish I have a tendecy to forget peoples names the first few times. So I try to make it a habit as soon as I hear a chicks name say it 10 times in my head then pretend to use my phone to text someone and write her name on a text. During an awkward moment ill check my phone and check her name.....

lol its so sad how bad i am with names.

Just grab a stranger and go "hey, meet my friend" to none of them in particular, and theyll both name themselves, and you overhear her name.

Or just go "hey meet my buddy" and bring your wing or a plain friend in, and let them introduce themselves, and you overhear her name.

smoothie ya it will make me look a bit off... :) I forget names so often this has become a habit, even if the girl gots a name like Sam, most sam's could have a full name of Samantha, or she could prefer the name Sammy. Hey there is so much to this. I like the responses for this post though. I am very pleased to see the community give advice out on this topic.
