Hi Guys Im a female student from the UK and Im writing an article on PUA techniques and why men choose to use them! Ive decided to try and see if these techniques work the other way around; do they work on men too?? Or do women not really need techniques?! What do you think? Any ideas of how I should go about starting a conversation with a guy and holding it?! I thought I might try this out in a pool room, what do you think? Nettle x |

Well ya PUA techniques work on guys. Infact if you wait I am sure Monkey will post on here. He was actaully thinking about helping women learn how to pick up guys. Infact he wanted a harem of woman to follow him so he could teach them the ways. |

Hm well yeah, im speaking out of my ass on this one, but im thinking theres no reason why they shouldnt work, if slightly modified. Its still a simple matter of attracting and building rapport while conveying intent and escalating kino. Id actually like to read that paper once youre done with it, and id be happy to help you out in any way if you need an interview or something of the sorts. Now im no PUA, im merely a recently reformed AFC, but dont hesitate to ask. Maybe monkey or shaft could convince mocca to air some thoughts on the subject, how she finds the journey towards being a female PUA? |

To answer your question, yes I believe they work on men. If you think about it like Slai said about building rapport, escalation, and use of kino then yes it does. I've been on the receiving end of things like girls' c/f, it used to drive me nuts before I got into all this. Another thing I know works on guys is the one step forward, two steps back. For example sitting on a couch watching a movie (or whatever) with a girl and talking... eventually moving into kissing, this would be the step forward. Taking a couple steps back by reversing direction a little to just holding hands. I used this on my last gf, a lot. It drove her nuts and just got her wanting me even more. She did it back from time to time and it drove me nuts too! In my opinion cat-string theory works also. Well it has on me in the past. Like if she is playing a little hard to get, putting in some sort of challenge, then it'll keep me intrigued and pursuing her. At the same time however, if she just throws herself at me and I know I could have her from the moment I start talking to her...I get really turned off. I'd much rather have the challenge than a girl who acts totally slutty towards me. In a way this relates to something I read on dog and cat behavior awhile back (just randomly, it wasn't game related) that spoke about how dogs like to play in a way that is somewhat challenging but it needs to be a game they can win. Whereas a cat is more interested in a game that it cannot win because once it does, it loses all interest. I would also be very interested in reading your paper when it's all finished. Post it up so we can have a look at it! I'm sure everyone would appreciate it, and you might even get some great feedback and ideas if you post an unfinished copy before you hand it in. Always, ~Muse |

Hi Nettle, I really don't think these techniques work at all when women use it one guys... at least most of them don't. Like if a girl I'm going for plays cocky and hard to get, I pretty much throw her number away. Also, if a girl tries to demonstrate higher value with telling me what she does for a living, I could care less. Men just judge women on different things, so the tricks don't work in reverse. Respectfully, M |
