She seems to like you, but I'm honestly not seeing any sexual tension even in the first exchange. I also don't see where you fucked things up. I mean no, you didn't slide back into a deep conversation, but that's not always a given.
When you reengage her, she's just being colder right from the start. Yes, you grasp at straws a bit to try and turn things around, but she was being aloof to start. She started the disengagement. You tried(and failed) to turn it around. Was it what I would call a good attempt? No. But the fact that you would need to engage in damage control already tells you where this is. That rarely works even when executed perfectly.

Gents, of all the words you never want to use in reference to a woman "difficult" is up there. I'm kicking myself for using the word. And then I get the wrong name for the fucking Muppets character I've posted. I've seen you post a lot of good stuff. But this is an example of getting WAY too deep inside your head. When a chick is actually into me, I have done some pretty dumb shit, and still slept with her. On the other hand, when she's not that into me, I've done almost everything perfectly and had her walk away. This little micro stuff can add up, but you really don't blow strong prospects with stuff like this.
