A few ways you can address other males. Notice that on the surface these things appear friendly and harmless but they are slightly value deflating to those you are speaking to and will turn all eyes and blouses in your direction. "Hey big guy" "Hey chief can you help me with this?" "What's up boss?" "My man!" "Thank you sir" when thanking a guy Notice that these are the way bosses, big brothers, high status males address those that are their subordinates. It is very friendly and you can't be demonized for being mean, however the context of these phrases suggests that you are on a higher plane. People and women will respond to you accordingly and be more attracted to you. |

I get it. Kind of subtle, but I get what you are going for here. It's like you are speaking to them as though they are in your pocket. It's a pet name. Like calling a girl sweatheart or babydoll. It indicates that they are there for your beck and call. I've always had a theory that mispronouncing someone's name, or not addressing them by their name at all, is an insult. You can also deride them further with the terms you used by calling a fat guy "slim", or a little guy "big guy"...basically mocking them in a underhanded way. |

Calling a fat guy slim and a small guy big guy is far too obvious and frankly if you called someone that they would know your acting douchey towards them especially taking the piss out of someones physical attributes. In the Uk i refer to people as 'Pal' its basically a word for friend but used by much younger people so when you use it in a group to say an AMOG... Oh sorry pal whats your name again ? It shows your being friendly but also putting him a childish frame as if hes beneath you. I learned this from my seniors in the office being 22 and a professional i used to get called pal and kid alot by senior more experienced staff... Now i flipped the table and started doing it to them and no one does it to me anymore. |

I like it. Depends on how u say it. If your like.. Listen her chief! That's like calling a girl a princess with a tonality that actually means bitch. But if u say it like "hey chief what's up" that would be saying how ppl call your nephew "hey bud how are u" it shoes your superior in a subtle way. It's like saying "sure princess I'll buy u a shot" princess doesn't mean bitch here. Princess means your daddy I'll use this |

Exactly that sketchy.. the tone you use it in as important as what words you actually use. |

Hmm perhaps this works. The main thing though is how you carry yourself. For instance, at work, I have a boss who is a bit of a dick tbh. He "bullies" a lot of people in the office. I don't try to play games with him or call him a pet name. I just stand up tall, very open, usually with my hands on my hips and like with my groin open if you know what I mean. I stay calm, talk normally, don't get flustered and make jokes about what he says as much as I would do with the receptionist or the typists etc. I've had people say before that they thought I was equal in ranking to him or even higher before they realised. Like most things on this message board to be honest, you can largely strip it down to your attitude and "presence". |
