Post subject:  dealing with mental illness.

Hey guys here's the story mainly just posting it in hopes that it will inspire ppl as well as motivate anyone that needs help to get it.

I've had several mental health issues nothing serious that would cause me to do something crazy. Ptsd as well as a general anxiety disorder and other issues. Anyway I toughed it out for 12 years before an incident flared up my ptsd, and I realized I can't do this anymore I need help.

So I sought out help and I can honestly say my life has turned around. I had waitresses asking for my # the other night. Once I started getting things under control I realized my downfall with women wasn't not knowing how to act, what to say, what to do and so on. It was because I was not mentally healthy. If any of you have read my previous threads you'll see neediness stemming from anxiety was probably biggest issue. Not an issue anymore I'm totally past that. I didn't know how to be invested in myself as opposed to a woman.
Its been a major weight lifted off my shoulders. I have a new confidence in myself my game everything I walked into a bar the other night to see if they were showing the Mayweather fight talked to the waitress it went well I was gonna go for her number, but she asked for mine first.
Those are just the improvements I've had with women.

Anyway that's my story with that being said I strongly encourage anyone that has any sort of mental health issues to get help its the best thing you can do for yourself!!

The worst thing anyone with mental health issues can do is to give it a label and say "I'm bipolar", "I'm ADHD", "I'm manic depressive" etc. As soon as you give it a name, the moment anything goes wrong, you can blame it on your condition, instead of manning up and taking responsibility for your own actions. I'm not disputing the fact that you were fucked up.but medication and shifting the blame onto something else is not the right way to deal with it.

From your post, it sounds like you have manned up, so good for you. Keep up the good work and make sure your mental well-being doesn't ever rely on positive interactions with women. True inner peace and happiness should come from you and you alone. If you can't be happy with zero women in your life, you will never be truly happy.

Sorry for getting all Zen and deep and shit.
