Post subject:  People walking into me!!!!!!

Okay this is is really fucking stupid. I'm walking along in the mall, doing my sarges, and seriously, I'm walking in a straight line, and people walking the opposite way stray right into my path. Then they graze past me because I'm not going to move for them, their in my way!!!! Has anyone else had this happen to them, it happens like 10-15 times every day I go sarging. And I swear I don't get in their way, they change the direction they are moving in, slightly towards me, I can see them start to stray into my path, over and over again. ????? :?

Oh, and as a side note, You guys from Edmonton, email me so we can talk, I would like to sarge with other people, I tried it with my friend Pat, he did one set with my opener, and called it quits. I need someone who's on the same boat. I have opened 32 sets so far, not much, but I'm adhering to the style life challenge, so it's piecemeal (and at the mall there is a small time framew were there is enough people to approach, the place actually clears out fast), so far Ive done opening, and am now at transitioning, which is fairly easy.Approaching is 3x as hard, because I'm required to do 3+ sets. And I can only find them in non social locations(ie. mall food courts) in a 1 1/2 hour time frame so AA is magnified with time constraints.
But I am absolutely serious about becoming a PUA. So guys give me a shout harmonic33@yahoo.ca take it easy.

I've noticed that when I use non-alpha body language (if im in a bad mood) people walk in your way but if your strutting like your going somewhere they tend to respect your space.Hope this helps bro

exactly use alpha body language and when they about to walk into you look away and keep going your directions as if you didnt even see them or they dont exist, they will acknowledge that you dont see them and they will move away.

If you saw some1 running your direction and he is looking straight at you, you gona think he will go around you and probably not move, but if you see him running towards you and his head is turned you gona be like "fuck he is gona run into me" and you will move out of his way.

The person that is walking straight and doesnt move and people move out of his path is alpha, if you move that means you acknowledge he is better or more dominant than you and move out of his way. Many times its done on subconscious level, so always be aware of your body language and your surrounding.

These rules dont apply when 90 year old grandpa is about to walk into you, you should move :)

I'm 6'3", 265lbs. People move for me, not the other way around.

Alright, I admit I practice my alpha body language in the mall as much as the next aspiring PUA, and I do move people large and small, male and female out of my way with eye contact and body language alone.

But seriously, is this something we should do all the time? Does it have to be ON or OFF? Can't it be "Kinda ON kinda OFF"?

What I'm talking about is finding a happy medium where people don't bump into you, but you don't intimidate people either. I've been experimenting and I have some trouble with this, because for me it's really hard to turn it OFF at will. And when I do, I feel like crap, so I'd rather not have it OFF all the way.

Does this make any sense?

I used to have the same problem. Whether it was malls, clubs, or even gas stations, people would just be in my way/get in my way/refuse to get out of my way. Walk through that mall of yours like you own the place, because, simply put, you do own it. Stick that chest out a lil bit, stand up straight, maintain a steady pace, don't shift your weight like you're going to deviate from course, and make eye contact with every person that might be getting in your way. I've found that eye contact and maybe a reassuring nod or half smile informs whatever obstacle that I'm walking here. I'm not a big guy, but I don't have problems with zigzagging through people anymore. It'll take some practice, like it did with me, but once you get it you'll be able to confidently walk through any situation.

Yes, Roads, actually that makes complete sense. I hear where you're coming from. And yes, with calibration, it's possible.
