One common misconception about pickup is that pickup is a "line" game, that a certain "pickup line" will get you laid, get you a number, and so on. That's bullshit. Why that's bulllshit? Because game thrives of confidence. If you're not in a state of self amusement or "confident level" you can be the greatest pickup artist in the world and your interaction with that women will go to shit, will be "awkward". If you come in with a low energy "output" she will feel that and leave. She'll be on her merry way to the guy partying his ass off and having a wonderful time in the corner. Be confident and engage in self amusement, get yourself at the stage of "idgaf" and you'll see the difference.

P.S: For club goers, don't be an approach robot, that's the worst thing to do because you're just ruining sets. Be self amused and then approach. You'll see what I'm talking about.

Cheers!

For a lot of guys a line will give him confidence to approach, then the success will expound upon itself and give him more confidence. Line's do have there place. The destination is self amusement and to enjoy the process. It is a lot harder to start at that point for most guys.

Agreed, but even most PUA's fall when they "run out of material". It's not about the material, it is about the diliverance. You can say whatever you want as long as you deliver it right and you have a "MAN" frame. If you must resort to "lines" then by all means do what's best for you but do not confine yourself to the "line" mindset.
