| Post subject: | gaming one girl..another wants you. |
this has happened to me in the past. i will usually open a group set with the intentions of picking up/gaming the hottest one there, but on occasion one of her friends is attracted to me and ends up basically getting in the way between me and her more hotter friend, until i show interest in her. i'm guessing i am staying in a set for too long and not isolating my target fast enough. this proves difficult for me because i game alone without a wing unless i am in Toronto. i know there are ways to isolate a target without a wing but it's not striking me, any suggestions? |

Well mystery first ignores the target then once he wins all her friends he asks them if they dont mind if he steels her friend for a little bit since he feels bad for ignoring her. |

I personally feel that I can get very similar results (not the same, that's for sure) by merely using body language; the way your body is facing the group, her body is facing the group, the way their bodies must face you and her. Instead of hauling her off from the group, which can definitely be difficult when going solo and without flat out asking to take her somewhere, or having a bet or something to drag her over to the bar, you just stay right there, but manuever so that everyone's perception of the situation makes it seem that you are isolated. It's easier than it sounds, but it does require some practice. You want it so that she is closest to you, preferably after previously having one or two people between you, so that the perception is that she is now alone with you and the other people aren't right there. Now you want angle your body so that you are focused more on her and slowly angle it more or less in depending on how well she is drawing you in, to show her approval and build rapport (the key is to have positive outcomes, with only 1 or 2 small negatives, because that way you don't end up angling away too much and losing rapport). Try to keep the rest of the group out of your view as much as possible for 2 reasons. First, if you can't see them much, they can't see you much, which means that they know you aren't running off with their friend, but you are out of sight, thus out of mind and they stop trying to talk to you very quickly. Secondly, they're out of sight, so out of your mind, now you can give her more attention, pay more attention to yourself and what you're doing and you stop reacting to what they are doing, so she doesn't see the reactions and remember they are there. NOW she's isolated, yet 12" from her 3 best friends, they're at ease cause they can see nothing bad is happening and they occupy each other in order to keep busy, further isolating you two. |
