Hey guys, I have posted this on my field report but its more of a question so apologies in advance for the double post.

So I left a friends house at about 11 to drive home. Thought I may as well go to a club solo and see what happens. Got there for about 11.30. Couldn't drink at all as I was driving - it felt so strange sober and solo - I got a coke and hit the dance floor but I just couldn't get into it. Usually my night game is on point when I'm vibeing off my friends, had a few drinks etc. I was dancing and a cute girl approached me and said hey I like your glasses can I try them on, usually I would have initiated Kino, dance with her, at least made out but I couldn't escalate, i could tell she was keen. Everyone was pretty drunk and I felt out of place. Chatted to a hot bar tender for a bit, went for the number close and it turns out she had a girlfriend! Thought fuck this and bounced. My usuall night game with wings and/or after one or two drinks is good, my day game is coming on well but solo sober night game is awful. Does anyone do this? I mean I didn't feel awkward just not my usual more confident self. Would love to hear if any of you guys nightgame solo without drinking. I couldn't go for my more chilled day approach style (which is working) - I couldn't get in the right frame of mind to go in highly sexual which I usual do during nightgame.

Approaching sober (obviously) in the day is fine. And I go out solo occasionally in the evening and drink which is also fine, both recent solo nights ended up taking a HB home. It's just solo and sober nightgame I am referring to.

I still recall the first and only time I went to a bar/club without a single thing to drink: freakin hilarity. I started to think this is why some clubs have drink minimums, so you get so drunk you don't realize how stupid everyone looks drunk. Anyway, don't want to jack your thread but you reminded me cuz this is something I planned on trying the other day... "But then I got high... but then I got high... but then I got high." But really, I was hoping someone would mention club timing. Like the best times of the night to do this/that. I want to test those theories.

For me, the best way to get into that vibe is to just start laughing. It makes it "seem like I'm drunk." Think about it.... when people are drunk, they are laughing, carefree, and having a good time. What you did wrong is you got there too late... Everyone was already drunk and you we're playing "catch up" to get into that same "vibe" as everyone else... Except you were doing it the natural way. Next time, just go out at like 9:30-10 and get yourself laughing while everyone else is getting drunk.
