I've become aware of something I do naturally that might be helpful to guys on here.
If I'm with a girl and we're already in a stage of having a rapport, and another guy comes along and starts trying to impress her, I don't feel threatened or try to compete with him. I enjoy it.
If the other guy wants her to be pleased with his behaviour, to be impressed by it, to enjoy it, then I not only encourage that reaction, I LEAD her in that reaction. In other words, if another guy comes along and tries to be entertaining or whatever he's trying to do, I take the attitude towards the girl "hey this should be good, let's enjoy it together". Where she might even feel awkward responding well towards the other guy while she's with me, I actively encourage that, and I SHARE it with her.
This is a gracious attitude. It's also communicating to the other guy "I'm not possessive, I don't need this girl's attention all to myself, you also deserve some of it", although there's also the implication "when you're done with what you're doing, she will still be with me".
When you're with a girl, you enjoy food with her, you enjoy music with her, you enjoy whatever you're doing with her. Enjoy other guys with her. They're cool. They're funny. Hey that was good, what shall we do next?
