| Post subject: | Ex-girlfriend super shit test, what to do |
So my ex girlfriend sends me this email saying that she does not have anyone to talk to anymore and that we should be friends. Followed by a "Sort of". Basically she wants to be friends with benefits. This is 3 days after our break up and she has emailed me saying that if i wouldnt have been prideful we would have still been together and that she only wants me in her life despite the fact that we're broken up. Im well aware that this is a super shit test. I'm not sure if she's being prideful and trying to find a way to get back together, or if she's trying to keep me around while she has fun doing the single life. What i thought about doing: A) Reply to her email with a simple "LMAO" or "You are so funny lol." B) No-contact her for a few days and then reply Are there any better options though? Some of you guys may say hard next, but our breakup was because I wouldn't fully commit to her. So its a complicated situation, and I do miss her. |

Hey mate, There is a lot of important info missing here. First and foremost, what do you want from her? No point getting caught up with hard texting or shit testing or anything else unless you know what you want. Then you just take the shortest route there. Now I'm assuming that you don't want a relationship, hence her breaking up with you. She has sent you a text asking to be friends with benefits. This seems more win-win, and less shit-test. So I'm curious where the complication is right now? The only real danger is that she might well be hoping somewhere in her mind that you guys do end up back together and you commit after you realise what a big mistake you've made. But that's not a shit test either the way I see it. It's just her hoping for something you don't want. |

I see what you mean there. What do i want you say? Well, i want her back. She broke up with me because i was too aloof, too secretive and it made her think she was putting in more than she was receiving. I think i fucked up. Sure it may be a win win, and i do want her back, but i refuse to in any way imply neediness, so i want to ger her back without be needy so she continues to respect me |

You can get her back without seeming needy no problem. Just go along with the just friends/friends with benefts bullshit and that will smoothly transition back into dating. If you're really so stubborn, you can wait until she asks you to be her boyfriend again, Itll happen. If shes already sad and alone, making her dependent on you WILL get you guys back together. Healthy? No. Successful? Id bet on it. |
