When I first started practising techniques and reading the game. I did what everyone did which was focus on the 'neg'. I have seen so many people get shot down since they believe all they have to do is insult a women to get her which is utter rubbish. They call it breaking rapport because that is exactly what you do. Build comfort and break it to build attraction. Do not simply continuously insult a woman. This will get you nowhere. It seems logical and for many of you it will be yet so many guys are fixated on lowering a girls value and act surprised when she is uninterested.

Any additions feel free

Negs are meant to disqualify yourself as a potential suitor to girls who put their value above yours.

Don't neg girls who are into you.

I agree. Negs should be looked at as teases not insults. They have different connotations and when people try to incorporate negs into their pickup routines, they insult the girl rather than tease her. Teases are effective, insults are t.

Co-sign Melodical and Elijah.

Upon first learning about negs, I went nuts with it. There was this one chick at work that was pretty much on my jock and I started using negs on her, in hopes that it would up the ante. Never have I been so wrong. *facepalm*

I sorta stopped using negs.

They were doing more harm than good - even when properly executed.
