Though i am fairly new to the Pickup community, i've learned little tidbits on how to approach and talk to women. One thing that i have learned that has been the most helpful piece of advice I have received was just to simply BE BOLD , that is really it. On days that I sat on my own in Dhall i would observe people and the way they interacted with each other, and even did "The Coffee Shop Drill" on most days, but one days as i sat with my Pi Kapp brothers, my vice arkon would yell randomly at girls saying "Hi! You're beautiful... I Love You" And of course the results varied but this is how he made a lot of his female friends inside and outside of greek life and also how he got "deep inside" as well. I thought this was stupid, and perhaps it is but after reading some books, watching some videos and putting it to use in the field, me being bold in every aspect of my life has helped tremendously. Being upfront about things (within reason of course) will filter out all the bullshit that a girl might try to give you and you will do about 80% of your gaming within about 20 minutes. Even if it is a goofy opener it will still make them laugh and open for conversation. Long story short? don't be forward in a creepy way and don't be to subtle, be a man and be bold, say what you need to say with confidence. One of the biggest lessons i've learn as a aspiring PUA |

Generally yes, bold and confident is going to be a good thing. Be aware of your audience though. Stuff like your friend shouting things out in a coffee shop might work on 18 year old girls etc. but if you're a bit older and trying it on with a more mature woman, you're probably going to want to do something slightly more appropriate for the surroundings, such as just approaching her and talking normally. So yes, confidence and boldness are good, but be aware of your audience and your setting, otherwise boldness and confidence ends up becoming douche-bag instead! |

Boldness works because you are clear in your intent, honest, and taking action. Take these things and do them with more finesse, and voilĂ ! You will be a true master within minutes! (No sarcasm intented here, even if it may sound like it). However... Being clear in your intent is good to a certain level only. It works on girls who are a little bit... How should I put it? Willing to meet somebody, perhaps? Girls who "just want to have fun". Some girls, or women, wether they know it or not, may be looking for someone who is a bit more smooth. They are usually a bit more hard to get, trickier to seduce. But if you want to play that kind of game, you need to take it to a whole new level, and I can recommend the book The Art of Seduction for this. I kind of miss such high level theory discussions in this forum, and on RSDN. |
