Post subject:  The "SUb-Linking" Theory

Hey guys-I've been analyzing situations and evens, also exploring my own thoughts, feelngs-relating it to all my knowlege I've gained on this forum and other varous material.

This thread is about a new concept that I thought about called, The "Sub-Linking" Theory. What is it? It's basically your subconscious mind linking current associates to your behavior or mood.

For example, having a bad day at work-feeling like a failure. This is a thought-which turns into an emotion of anger, or disguist. Following up is the behavior of not giving a shit, or being a asshole.

So that in mind of having thoughts of being a loser or a failure will make your frame weak and also your sensitivity threshold weaker. Anything litte will just set you off or will power your thoughts that you're a loser.

So basically: EVENT+THOUGHTS+PAST EXPERIENCE+FEEINGS+PERCEIPTION=CURRENT FRAME. Sub-linking negative thoughts and bounding it to the emotions, therefore makes new experices which makes our perceiption of things different. Also when are frame is weak-we have a tendency to view things pessimistically. Say for example, a horrible day at work were you're almost on a verge of getting fired. Thoughts that would be running through your head is I'm a loser or I'm no good because of the previous experences in your life, which then makes you perceive everyone around you against you. WIth all these in mind-if affects our current frame. Like Zip told in the newsletter that our frame can be short or expanded; thin or thicker per say. It all depends on our experiences second to second. Our mind quickly rapidly fires off associations linked to our experiences which makes new perception of our world.

A man that gets rejected by HB-think's he's not good enough for her or he's a loser. WHich then makes him feel more angry or depressed. His new perception of her is that she's a btch and his current frame is weak or crashed.

If this doesn't make sense then tell me. I can always improve this theory but I know this makes sense because it's logical correct. Thanks for reading my posts and look forward to reading more of them. I have new great ideas and field experiences that I'm taking mental notes of and analyzing. Take care now!

Good post and theory. Speaks a lot for inner game. Bad things might get "set off" by external stimuli but the perception of bad things is a window into your framework. People with positive attitudes view bad things as tests of their courage or a challenge to their being. This is then turned into a game. Winners always win, no matter what the challenge because they frame it in their minds properly and define the world as they see fit.

This is a concept that is more apty described by NLP language. It's pretty much what Joseph O'Connor and John Seymour talk about in their book Introducing NLP, in the chapter on changing personal history and how it affects your current mindset.
