I googled to find out what girls would be told to get along with guys.. and found these.. [searching "what do guys like in a girl" result] (combining top 4 results) 1. confidence 2. intelligence 3. passion about their lives ... it's almost the same as what we (men) are learning to be attractive to women. and I think it's just far from the truth, from my perspective. I don't like girls who are confident.. who try so hard to be attractive to men. If a girl would read those articles, and try those several steps to be attractive to men, I would pity her for not being a normal self who don't need to be so desperate to get guys' attentions in my opinion, I think we are just the same human beings with almost exactly the same mentality whether we are girls or guys. I think the difference comes from different social/physical positions each genders are at and if we think in a girl's perspective, it would be more likely to understand them better. not thinking them as a completely different material. |

yeah man. i don't know how many responses your going to get in a community of guys whose core belief is that those traits are attractive. People don't like when you fuck with their reality, it changes everything they thought they knew. Aside from that, i think that is probably just a good example of some women's movements trying to become men. Regardless, i'd rather have all of those depicted qualities than not. |

The media promotes these nonsensical beliefs because it fits the world image they like to promote. Average people want to rationalize their failures so these amorphous,ambiguous, and noble ideals fit comfortably into their mentality. Of course this is a bunch of rubbish |

That's a TOTAL non-sequitur. All three of the qualities listed are VERY attractive in women, I can't believe this is even a discussion. |
