| Post subject: | Jealousy gets in the way. |
I allow jealousy to get in the way of my goals and I. It's something like this. I develop an interest in something. I work towards accomplishing what ever I've set to accomplish. Somewhere along the line I see/hear someone younger (sometimes) that is doing it bigger and better. Jealousy gets in play and I get sidetracked. Before I know it, weeks have passed by. I understand you have to live by your own terms and not compare yourself for other people. I can't help myself sometimes. This goes hand in hand with a bad habit I have. I'm never completely satisfied. One could argue this is a good habit because you tend to achieve more. It's actually a bad habit as I feel I never accomplish anything. I need a few suggestions about my situation. Let's hear it. |

how old are you? if you're not out there accomplishing anything, then what are you doing? sounds like you just gotta set some goals and get your arse in gear.. don't worry about time it's only an illusion |

I know how you feel. I know quite a few people that I graduated High School with now have careers, or have some pretty cool things going on in their lives, and sometimes I feel a little envious. But you have to realize you are living your life, and you are the one who makes things happen. Being jealous gets you knowhere. I always keep the thought of "my day will come" (when I catch up) in the back of my mind. |
