| Post subject: | FORUM SOFTWARE UPDATE |
It has been months if not years since we first mentioned that a new forum was on the way, that things would become even more awesome. Some felt it was never going to happen, some doubted us and at times we even doubted ourselves.... BUT ITS COMING!! This Thursday at 10am ET MPUA Forum will get updated to a new version of the forum software. Don't worry, things will look pretty similar to how they do now but there will be some cool new features and everything should run faster and better. For this update to take effect, there will be a few hours of downtime on Thursday and the forums search function may be a little unreliable for the first 24 hours but after that it should all be plain sailing. One of the most exciting new features (that I hope everyone uses well) is the ability to report a post or topic to the moderators. This puts a lot of the power into your hands to help us keep this place awesome. Make sure you are all familiar with the forum rules ( [link] ) and please report any post you feel breaks them. As with all new software, there probably will be a few small issues that will pop up over time and we therefore ask you to please either PM "madals" "chief" or any mod and / or let us know in the Tech support sub forum. Anyway, you are now all in the loop and I look forward to seeing you all in the beautiful future of the forum! Madals & all the mods! |
