| Post subject: | Some Questions Plus Insight on Starting My Game |
Today I started figuring out my game. The primary question as a newbie for me is "What are you actually looking for?" I think the answer to that will affect the style and input that I bring to the community. My inner game is about undoing 20+ years of religious sexual repression. It's about over coming a lack of confidence, a poor self image, and a fear of rejection and commitment. I want to be comfortable in the pursuit of relationships. I want to be the guy who has his pick of women and is not looking for the world to throw him a bone. In short it is about getting my shit together. As a person. As for my outer game, when it comes to social situations that do not have potential sexual outcomes I have some natural grace and presence even if the group is peppered with beautiful people. My friends describe me as very diplomatic and I am not that bad looking. I think once I get past the awkwardness of trying something new I expect some dormant social talent will come to the surface. I am not interested in a new woman every night. It's not about quantity it is about quality. I am definitely looking for THE ONE. But I plan on having a lot of fun in the process of finding her. Practical steps, since I do not enjoy bars I decided to start by focusing on my day game. I went into Santa Monica today and I did a little recon. Santa Monica is nice because there is no shortage of beautiful women and there are a lot of possibilities for instant dates. There are so many coffee shops, parks, and bookstores with in a few blocks of each other that I plan on making my initial testing grounds. I brought a note book with me and just people watched for a few hours. I was looking for women I was attracted to I took notes on the types of men they were spending their time with. This was to help me in as I invest in some new cloths and to customize my openers. Is it bad that I look at this a lot like hunting? Establishing a territory, isolate high traffic areas, etc. Next steps, invest in peacocking attire. Develop brief routine. Practice. Practice. Practice. How particular do most PUAs get when choosing a type of girl? Are there posts of examples? |

No, it's not exactly bad to look at it as a "hunt". You are preparing yourself for the field work. However, you can't let yourself get so caught up in preparation that you don't ever get to the actual hunt. When you're first starting, you shouldn't get picky about the type of girl you're gaming. You NEED to practice on ANY girl. It's very important for the experience, the calibration. And, welcome to the forum Pull. |

thanks for the heads. Up. I went sarging for the first time on friday. It didn't go too well. But I will be at it again soon. |
