Yo guys! Let's see if we can open up some minds and transplant a VITAL piece of info into your heads here . . .

"Being a conessuer of the pick up arts myself I must admit that there was only one guy in my 3 year career who was able to talk me into seeing him outside of the club. And he was really hot. It's not that I couldn't have been talked into it, but guys were lacking in one area or another. Which is frustrating because I WANTED to get swept into a little adventure, yet no one came along with the right skills.

Listen guys. Do you REALLY want to be able to pick up women? Do you REALLY want to have MAJOR success?

I've written this over and over and have said it live in chat over and over. Well, here's a woman telling you the same thing.

They WANT TO BE SWEPT OFF THEIR FEET! Guys, they WANT adventure. They WANT a guy that has BALLS and is willing to PUT THEM ON THE LINE, showing that he's not afraid of a woman!!!

Study the material, learn the principles, practice, acquire the skills, and GROW BALLS. Don't be afraid to talk to women. Don't be afraid to talk about sex with a woman. Don't be afraid of what her friends will think. Don't be afraid of what YOUR friends will think.

GO IN THERE AND SHOW THE TARGET THAT YOU ARE THE ADVENTURE SHE HAS BEEN WAITING FOR!!!!

She will LOVE you for it!

Very true.

They want to be swept off their feet, but that doesn't mean you need to be a hopeless romantic and an afc. I'll admit to being a romantic, I love romance, but I'm not hopeless and I'm not and afc, so it's a DHV. If you're hopeless and an afc, then it's a DLV, so don't be a complete sap about it, but do remember to give her a flower on a special occasion sometimes, or hold a door open, but do it because you wanted to and she deserved it, not because you figure it's expected, or that it will make her love you.

She doesn't want a lap dog, she wants a guy that can take charge and BE a MAN, but that knows when to light some candles and when to bend her over a couch, fuck her from behind and pull her hair, while telling her that's she's such a naughty dirty slut and that you're gonna make her cum hard.

If you can't show that you know the things that she thinks a man should know and that you act on them, then you won't sweep her off her feet and like Tripp and Erin said, that's all a girl is really looking for.

Very well said. Yeah, guys, don't get the wrong idea. I don't mean go in and bring her flowers and stuff like that to sweep her off of her feet. No, what we're talking about here is SKILL and being able to game her and HOLD HER ATTENTION. As Zip has said before, BREAK HER OF HER ROUTINE. If you go in and do the same thing the other 100 guys that day/night have done, she's gonna blow you off w/o thinking twice. However, if you go in and BREAK HER ROUTINE, she's gonna be stopped dead in her tracks and her mind is going to think "wow, this guy may actually be interesting". THUS, you are about to sweep her off of her feet at that point.

I'm not putting my balls on the line though :P would like to spend my entire life with them :P

As for the adventure part, I think here is were a lot of wannabe PUAs go wrong. They have nothing more going for them then their little routines and stuff. Ok, it's easier to learn if you use them but you need some depth of character. or she will be bored out of her mind after those first 25 min.

Routines filled with the most interesting and captivating facts will build rapport, with the routine and it's facts... the symptoms. And even the most mundane routines when delivered with passion and emotion will also build rapport... but with you.

Example:

"I was driving down 4th avenue today, it was quite busy and had been raining. Thats when I saw a yellow haired dog, sitting on the side of the road wet and alone... So I pulled over and picked him up. After that I took him to the veternarian to be checked out. I was told he had a broken leg, so they put a cast on him and I took him home. Buddy and I have lived together ever since"

vs.

"Today as I was making my way down a crowded street on my way home, feeling rather frusterated with the traffic and the rain. I saw a dog on the side of the road... The poor thing looked so cold and alone sitting there in the rain... I thought to myself, how I would feel abadoned and afraid with no one to help me. So I pulled over and brought the poor guy into my car so I could get him some help. At the Vet's office I found out he had a broken leg, the poor guy must have been in alot of pain, so I had them fix him up so I could take him home where he could feel warm and safe... Once we arrived he cuddled up to me on the couch lovingly, and gave me a thankful lick on the face. Ever since then buddy has been my loyal companion... We're inseperable. "

The first version may be captivating... but the second one is endearing.

Think you missed what I tried to say there a bit, because I am generally a very unclear person. I tried to say that a lot of guys hide behind routines instead of focussing on becoming a sort of near perfect natural.

No, thats what I assumed you ment. My post was made in agreement with what you were saying.

Alot of guys do hide behind routines and facts. I agree with you 100% that why I was illustrating a way to personalize your routines, if you will.

Good thread starting post.

After reading about the game my view on "sweeping a woman off her feet" changed to include not just doing the romantic as well as alpha things but using FRAME CONTROL effectively! Use it well and you will BE dynamic, driven, focused and alpha when you use it. This doesn't mean over-powering, being louder, etc., but using strong INTENTION.

At least that's what I'm going to work on.

ummm... alot of guys read that I wanted to get swept off my feet... but what Iactually said was:

I wanted to get swept up into a little adventure

that's much more seductive to me personally. I think most girls can get swept off their feet by getting swept into a little adventure. What they are looking for will vary, but it all starts with adventure. But that's just my thoughts on the concept.

That's what getting swept off your feet is, getting sucked into an adventure. That's why I went over how you don't want to be mushy and stuff, you want to be seductive and fun.

That's what getting swept off your feet is, getting sucked into an adventure. That's why I went over how you don't want to be mushy and stuff, you want to be seductive and fun.
Sorry, I didn't read every post thoroughly... but still though... there is a slight nuanced difference between getting swept off your feet and getting swept into an adventure .... it's slight, but it's there... for me at least.

This is something I've been saying over and over again. Most of the tests a girl gives a guy is simply to see if you have the balls to be yourself. You need to be pro-active in the relationship take charge. Hopefully yourself is a man that's a leader with a purpose. If your some guy without any goals or ambitions then you're going to have trouble.
