I planned on Monday to hang out with a girl tomorrow (Wednesday). I told her I'd come pick her up around noon. Only reason I plan on calling to confirm is because I know most people aren't awake by then. I was going to call around 11 and sarcastically tell her I want her waiting for me at the curb at X time. Or should I just show up as planned?

Just show up! That might be a little too AFC regardless of what you say on the phone. You set a date, she agreed, she knows that you are coming, so show up!

So what do I do if she is not awake or ready? Leave?

She seemed interested because I told her I could only hang out earlier in the day because of work and she was like "oh, I can get up" but I know personally I'd probably not be able to wake up, even if it was for some HB. Only reason I'll be awake is because I have to take my car into the shop.

Okay look, she set a date with you. She should value your time as much as you do. I know this isn't always the case. I understand your need for wanting to call her first. It's an AFC move, and you're likely to get blown off. I would show up to her place. If she's not ready, it's not cool because she shows you no value for your time. LEAVE. Then try again to set another date or meet up. Very likely, if she can't go or isn't ready she will call you first.

Have respect for yourself and value for yourself. If she isn't ready, too bad for her, time to go. Do you really want to date someone Long Term who doesn't respect you or your efforts? I'm not trying to be an asshole here but you having respect for yourself and being treated mutual respect is an important matter.
