Post subject:  Cosmopolitan B.S! and make no mistake thats what it is...

I was reading some stuff about innergame on another pua site the other night, when a guy had written something about the woman magazine cosmopolitan. So I thought I'd check the magazine out to see what gaming tips women get and maybe use that on them if there was anything good. Style often says that alot of the gaming tricks he has he has gotten from women so.. I was dissappointed when i found out this magazine was just a bunch of b.s. What the hell are these people feeding women!? I mean seriously, just listen to this, and this is a QUOTE, exactly like its written in the mag, its about buying christmas gifts and how men suck at that (go figure...):

"Men like challenges - they'll eagerly jump through hoops (wow, they use our language!!! or we use theirs maybe, dunno) for treats. If you don't give them hoops and treats, they'll get bored (anyone but me starting to think shes talking about us like a certain mans-best-friend?), take you for granted, start giving you hose attachments (bad gifts in other words), and then think you're being premenstrual when you burst into tears and sob, "how COULD you!?".

it gets worse...

"As a grown woman, you have every right to ensure that your christmas present is lavish enough to reflect the fact that YOU DO MOST OF THE WORK IN TH RELATIONSHIP".

I'll let you have a quiet moment for yourself right now to laugh and/or cry and/or mope at this ludacris SPAM...

Stopped laughing/other stuff? Ok.

Sure some women do alot of work in the relationship, but they need to dump the guy and get a PUA ;)

Now for the golddigger part of the story...

"I recommend (for getting the gifts you want) the "Tiffany cough" ". This basically means she coughed "Tiffany, Tiffany" all christmas (yes i know... annoying that would be huh?), so that her man bought her six gifts or so with stuff to do with Tiffany (she really meant the jewelry shop, which was one of the things she got).

Back to the story...:
"By the way, I got my husband Tiffany cufflinks for his birthday. It was only fair after all those hints" (O_O fair?)

"BUT YOU KNOW WHAT? He wasn't fussed. Men don't appreciate romantic gestures like we do." (Really?)

Now the worst part:

"Great news for us - we can just give them a computer-game voucher and spend the rest on cocktails with the girls"

O_O

O_o

Please, if i am the ONLY one to think this was a right big stinky load of B.S, please inform me how women giving us a rubbish cheap present, then going out (without us) and having a good time partying with the jewels we bought for them around their necks and wrists while we sit at home is fair...?

Peace
Drift

P.S: Not that I'm planning on getting into any relationship soon... Just thought others should know what garbage women are being fed by these evil-women-magazine-ladies (that btw claim to have gotten men to "confess" what they're deepest desires are in bed... I think that says a whole lot...)

Rockleedrift;

I agree with you it IS all BS, but there are some points you should check...

This is true... and not only for men!! Everyone love challenges, you don't value things that you get for free, you value the things that took you 1 year to get.

Cat String theory, people (men and woman) sometimes behave like animals and thats true.

Mystery refers to the cat string theory as a way to behave to attract woman, and in one way or another he refer to girls as cats... because they behave in that way (And I agree) (I'm not saying girls are animals and blah blah, I'm saying they sometimes DO behave like animals, but men ALSO.)

The other things about Tiffany and gifts...

Remember it is a magazine and they want to make us consumers of stuff we don't need...

Anyway it is part BS but there are some interesting points and sometimes it is hard to realize that we behave that way.

JMHO

wow, thanks for the reply, I see what you mean now. It is the cat-string theory (guess I didn't notice all the stuff because I was to busy being shocked over how much crap they manage to cram into the mag, and not just that one story) in action!
