A new feature of the Private Membership Zone, is mentorship.

What is ‘mentorship’? A number of experienced members (Mentors) are offering to help newbies, rAFCs, or other members with their sticking points. They may offer their help via PM (private messages), email, IM, phone, or in person, but it’s up to the individual mentor.

How do you contact a mentor? Each Mentor has a ‘mentor badge’ under their username:

Click the badge and you’ll be redirected to the PM page of that mentor so you can send them a private message. Note: only PMZ members can see the badges, so only PMZ members know who the mentors are. Here's the list: mentor-list-vt12829.html

How do I choose the right mentor or mentors? Firstly, work out your PU problems/sticking points: approach anxiety, opening, attraction, conversational material, routines, comfort, isolation, closing, body language, etc. Secondly, don’t randomly contact mentors! Do some background reading about each one - they all have their strengths and weaknesses (like we all do). Then carefully choose the mentor or mentors that could help you most. Thirdly, introduce yourself to your chosen mentor(s) and contact them with specific questions! Such as: ‘After opening I run out of things to say, you got any tips?’, and not, ‘How do I get my GF back?’!

Any questions, fire away?

Talk to people, send messages. Generally if someone is a half decent human being they'll mentor you, or direct you to someone who can mentor you.

I'd offer to help, but I don't have the little badge and I don't check this forum often enough.

Also, someone doesn't need the Mentor badge to give advise. The badge is just a status symbol. I'm blanking on the term right now, but having the badge is the same as casually mentioning in set that you used to take an exotic dancer. :D

Any more criticism?

You might want to find out from some of the students themselves just how much this program is helping before you shoot it down.
