Post subject:  Meeting online for the first time tomorrow
So I've been talking to a girl from myspace for about a month and a half. I think there's quite a lot of attraction and we have a lot in common. I think she's great and I like the way this is going. So we've decided to meet. Tomorrow we are going to Chilli's for lunch. And then I'm thinking of doing an "instant date" to maybe the mall for a hot pretzel or ice cream and just window shop with her. No I have a few questions..

Should I pay for the food because I'm the one who invited her? I know it's suppose to be "the man's" job. I personally don't pay for lunches much ... I don't want to get put in the "nice boyfriend" catorgory.

Also when I first meet up at the resturant do you think I should kino with a little kiss on the cheek and a hug? or would the kiss but too much for a first time encountr.

What about my "instant date" idea.. is it a good idea or not?.. any othrer advice would be great guys.. thanks

To answer:

1) It is NOT the man's job to pay for his woman's food. It is a reward for when she does something nice for you! This way, you do not come off as trying to buy your way into her pants. If anything, you should get her to buy YOU something, once you've gotten her to show interest and attraction in you. HOWEVER, if you told her the date was on you, or implied it in a strong way, then by all means follow through and pay. If you told her that she could "join" you for lunch at this or that place, then she pays for her portion. Nevertheless, don't make a big fuss about it obviously.

One thing though: Do NOT make her get out her wallet to pay for a 50 cent pretzel, it will devalue you in her eyes. Instead, buy two, pretend you're gonna eat both, "notice her" and see she's left out, and reluctantly hand one to her with a wry smile on your face. :)

2) If you have never kino'd before, then go for a hand squeeze or a small hug if she looks receptive.

3) Instant date is great idea, it's all about finding out if you're right for each other, so anything that is fun and allows you to communicate is perfect.

You kind of have the right idea, do not fall into the "nice guy" category, be fun and exciting and unpredictable, and make her laugh. There are various game routines and methods you can study here to make yourself look good without bragging (women hate bragging) as well as build comfort with her.

I agree completely.

Instant date in the mall is perfect, i actually have a dateing routine i use in the mall that basically equates to stringing multiple dates together.

I agree too that buying is not the guys responsibility. Unless you clearly state this as your treat to her, then it should not be expected of you. If its something small like a pretzel i agree with roads.

DO NOT go for the kiss on the cheek so soon. Instead work on some lght kino and amp it up dependant on how responsive she is to it. A hug may be ok at the beginning but only go for that if she starts it. The idea is that when your first meeting you do not wana come accross creepy. Hard kino up front says, "Im needy and clingy and possibly creepy."

Have a good time, be yourself, show her a good time...remeber be different! GL HF
