I think it's a form of cockblocking. whatever your answer to her she will go to kim and tell her "murdoc says he likes you", "murdoc says he doesn't like you", I have had this TOO MANY times, when other people get involved, it ruins the privacy of what you 2 have or could have. she is shit-stirring.
I don't know what the best thing to do is, but I would probably Ignore her, and change the subject. If she says any more about it, say it's nor the time or the place to be nosing in other peoples private lives.
you see, if you continue the conversation, you are in theory talking about kim behind her back. and whatever you say gets repeated, so destroying the mystery.
You could say "really? do you reckon I should ask her out then?"
