Post subject:  My sticking point - Day game.

You put me in a party situation, man I'm on FIRE! Night game feels natural to me. -Day game however is not as easy. It's hard for me to go from normal self, into player mode on demand.

Here's what happened: After class I was hungry so I went to a local Subway. I see the cashier HB8 giving IOI after IOI. Maintains eye contact, and I catch her singing along to the song on the radio quietly and she blushes. Not only that, she freakin' gave me a discount and could not stop smiling the entire time.

Was I charismatic? Of course. But there was a line behind me, and I obviously wouldn't be able to stop and chat her up.

I felt like a fool! Why? After thinking about it for a bit, I totally had an opening. When she gave me that discount I could have countered with: "Wow, now I totally feel obligated to buy you a pack of gum or something! Here, write down your number on the back of the receipt."

If she responded with "No, no, it's no problem!" I can counter again with: "I insist! -In fact I demand it. Write down your number woman."

On the drive back, I thought to myself. What are some ways I can better implement improvisational pick up skills? Maybe focus on a mental exercise? Read over the material more?

No. The only way to hard wire day game improvisation is to open more sets. Once I hit 1000 day sets, opportunities like this will become much easier to identify and then use.

So the next time I get in a similar situation, I know for certain I will recall this "failure" in a split second and act accordingly.

I hope this was as helpful to your game, as it was mine. :D
