Two weeks ago I knew nothing of the game except I happened to catch a bit of the show on VH1 one night, thought it was interesting, then forgot all about it until I stumbled across The Game in an airport bookstore. Now I have 6 Field Reports in. No spectacular results just yet, but already my outlook on life has completely changed. For the last year or three I've been wrestling with the question about why I can't seem to motivate myself to go out at night. Last week I went out at night twice in the same week, something I haven't done in years. Sometimes I used to go downtown for shopping purposes and to get a dose of city life, but I'd still feel alone in a crowd. I don't feel that anymore. My FR5 is an account of my little adventure yesterday in downtown San Francisco, and I saw the place in a whole new light. Now I feel a lot more connected to the people around me, regardless of whether or not I'm going to sarge them. Previously they all looked impregnable, as if I'd never get talking to any of them, but now all I can see is endless possibility, and it's incredibly exciting. People are a lot more accessible to me. I think Style and Mystery et al are going to be remembered as the most influential people in western society in the early 21st century. They're going to be up there with Vasco De Gama, Ferdinand Magellan, and Christopher Columbus. They have triggered something that is going to be on a par with the 1960s Baby Boom in its reach and its consequences. Look at that effects of the Baby Boom. Governments in the early 2000s have had to completely turn their financial systems upside down to pay for the pensions of the people who were essentially the product of a social and cultural upheaval 40 years ago. What's going to be the effect of the PUA revolution? I'd guess that intelligent people are going to stand a much better chance of passing on their genes. Right now, it's the lower classes who tend to reproduce most. In places like England where there's a comprehensive social welfare safety net, there's a substantial number of people in inner city areas who abuse it by wasting away their days living on the dole and just spawning generation after generation of spongers. I know this because I lived in Salford when I was a student and had to endure a daily dose of abuse from the unemployed underclass. It's a known fact that people have fewer children the more affluent they get. Intelligent people who tend to rise to the top of society might do so in a way that makes it harder for them to find a partner to bond with since they lack the social skills. The PUA method gives them access to pair-bonding in a way that was never possible before. Using the PUA method requires intelligence, falling for it requires intelligence. Intelligent people are now more likely to reproduce. More intelligent people passing on their genes and keeping them in the pool is better for us as a species. And we owe it all to Style, Mystery, and the others. Let me raise a toast to them. |

speed-bird, if the show and The Game have helped you this much, you need to find The Venusian Art Handbook. I can't stress just how important that book is for the fundamentals. |
