So guys eariler today I was really bummed out. Maybe one of you can give me some good input here. I've been talking to this girl on myspace for about a month, off and on. Recently I got her number, got her on the phone, and have been talking a lot. She's a real great girl very sexy goth/punk style which I love. Anyway... today we agreed to meet up this weekend.. Well there's just one problem. I don't drive I'm 23 and legally blind in my right eye. I know that eventually I had to tell her about it, but I didn't know when. But this afternoon she found out we were planning to meet up this sunday for lunch, she asked me if I could meet her half way (she lives about 25 minutes away).. I said I couldn't because I can't drive... I felt that I was DLV and I thought the attraction would burn up.. luckily it didn't because she said "I really think we should meet" and "I understand.. I'm sorry" Guys how should I tell a girl this.. they aren't used to this from a guy and again I'm sorry it's out of my hands I can't control that I'm blind in one eye.. it just happened.... |

Just be honest about it man. Let her know you're legally blind in one eye. She shouldn't have a problem with it, especially if she said "we really need to meet up". |

I think you being tentative about it is more of a DLV than outright saying that you are legally blind in one eye and can't drive. If she doesn't want you due to that, then you don't need her to begin with man. Don't settle for less. There is no DLV in your situation. Call her, explain with confidence and do care either way if she rejects you or sucks your dick. Either way, you are the winner here. |

lance armstrong nearly lost his balls to cancer, and then won the toure de france. Sure being blind in one eye isn't beneficial to you, but it is a part of you. Accept it as a part of the amazing human being that is you. We all have weaknesses, all have an achilles heel. It's human to be imperfect. Anything that is wrong with you that can't be changed positively makes you more human, more able to easily relate to people because they too have shit wrong with them. If you can love yourself even for your problems and things you can't change about yourself then you my friend deserve my highest respect. I agree with the other guys tell her, and make it a trait about yourself that you love. |

First off its lame that you cant drive with one good eye, but many people can drive with only one brain cell... To be more serious though, be straight up with her and act as if its not a big deal...because its not. In the future i would bring it up even sooner with a target. One it will DHV you in a way because it will show your not shy about it, and it doesnt really bother you. Secondly, if it bothers the chick do you really wana waste your time with them, mention it sooner and weed out the bad apples quicker. Good luck bro. |

Damn, that sucks balls. I think you could just be honest about it, and she will understand. Hopefully you can still get this girl, bro. I am pulling for you. |
