Hey what's up dudes? I think i just realized that a lot of why i feel uncomfortable at times is because i'm caught up in my face and good facial expressions/confident/etc..if i catch myself being silly i straigten up kinda thing(i can get carried away if i'm really absorbed). Question: WHen people say BODY LANGUAGE...is that mainly addressing basically chest down? I understand a upheld neck. Or is that including your face? If so, please brief your opinion. Thanks guys! |

Body Language and NonVerbal communication is so much more than just the chest down. Okay take it from a guy that did a lot of sales and poker had to study this stuff a lot. It's a lot of things here are some to think about but don't get too obsessed with this stuff because it's easy to do. Your verbal pace, how fast you talk is a part of body language/ communication. Think about it, ever have a girl say to you, "Its not the what you said it's the way you said it. Or you mother say Don't take that tone with me?" Body Language, and nonverbal communication in action. Also if you....pause....to stress certain words is a part of it. Your facial expressions is body language. If you raise an eye brow, cock your head, turn your body, cross your arms, lean in or lean back, fidget with your hands, tap your foot, hold your breath, stare too long, or look away more often. There is a lot, but just take in account the whole picture. Hope it helps! |

The Definitive Book of Body Language. (allan and barbara pease) I suggest you and everybody on this forum get this book. Fun Fact for the Day: Only the world's best con-artist can fake body language for a short time. In other words, you can't fake body language. Even if you fake one part, there are other parts that will expose you.
