| Post subject: | 3 Most Appealing Qualities |
Style asks this question of Jessica Alba when they were both guests of the Jimmy Kimmel show: "What are your 3 most appealing qualities? and you can't say your looks." I want to ask this question of women I meet, but I don't want to mention their looks. I want them to receive the question and respond immediately and naturally. They shouldn't have any time to think about it. I want to make girls who truly consider their looks as an asset to use that in their response. That will give me a chance to neg them, ask them why they chose their looks, talk about why beauty is so common, why looks are important throughout evolution, etc. "What are your 3 most appealing qualities?" When I asked this of a few friends, they replied with, "physical or personality?" So I need to add a time constraint to the question. "You have 10 Seconds to tell me your 3 most appealing qualties. GO!" I think that'll work. I haven't tried it yet. Opinions? |

Here's the Interview. The good part starts 2/3 of the way through the show (it's a 21 min clip), watch how Style does his opener on Alba, then watch their body language. I thought Jimmy hung in there quite well with Style, even though Style made it clear he was off the market and made only a couple of attempts to AMOG Jimmy back after some half joking-knock-you-down-a-peg remarks. Alba was definitely having fun, watch her left foot. It was hard to tell who really controlled the frame but I left with the impression that Style had the upper hand even though Jimmy was the host, if only because he can talk so fast. What do you guys think? |

The most intresting thing I found about the vid is that unless you're in the Game, and have been for awhile, you wouldn't see it. Mystery on the other hand, I've always found to be extremely fake when he's talking. |

honestly, i don't think her IOIs matter on a talk show. She's not going to turn her body away from the host and the guest. She's not going to ignore them or even look away. She's on national television. That's not to say that her body language was fake or forced, but I just don't think it's relevant in this situation. What I do think is relevant about this situation is how Jimmy acted as an approaching wing and introduced Style to the "set" by declaring him a successful writer and pick up artist. It's still a television show, but it's an example of how to make sure you bring in your buddy on great terms with the set. |

Murdoc, the point of this routine is to get a women to qualify herself in terms that are not physical. The idea is to determine, in my mind anyway, how much compliance you can get out of her. The way Mystery uses it i like even better. Its something along the lines of... PUA: "Your beautiful...but looks are not everlasting, and there are many other beautiful women *here* (in this bar/resturant/club...). What 3 characteristics do you have, aside from you looks that would make me want to speak with you instead of them?" I may not have it per-say but its close, i like Mystery's version better because you are basically saying to the women, "I notice your attractive but i dont care, thats not enough for me...qualify yourself in another way." I have seen a video or 2 were its not so much the verbal answers that they give back...but the IOI's. He does this to one chick and she starts harcore kino with him while she validates herself. In anycase it is possible to ask the way your asking, and as LA suggested you should feild test this and any other ideas you think might work. However, I think the question is phrased in such a way to create contrast. GL, hope this helps |

That's one thing I liked about the MM forums. They didn't allow people to post openers without it being field tested first. Why you ask? Because you are asking a bunch of PUA (read men) if something geared towards a woman is going to work. Here is a clue, WE DO NOT KNOW! Men and women think differently, so what sounds good to us might not to them. So, you are asking the wrong audience if your opener will work. Truth is, unless one of us has tried it, we are purely guessing. |

I take no offense. It's just one person's opinion. Maybe it's just that I've never seen him use anything I haven't already seen him use. Who knows? From what I've personally seen though I just think he's too rehearsed in his tone and unsincere.
No offense man, just surprised me to see that comment. |
