I can get down the persona if I tried. But I just can't extend my thoughts into more than 2 sentences. That's how it's been my whole life. It's not about being shy, my mind just doesn't work in a way where I can extend what I'm thinking on the spot. It's not in my nature to go through routines or tell stories, it just feels so incredibly unnatural for me, I've always just been used listening to what others had to say until I formed something worthwhile in my head to say at the perfect time. Is it possible to be a PUA through quick and witty remarks? I feel like the only one with this problem, has anyone been where I am? |

Not being talkative? No, most AFC's have that problem. That's one big reason they don't pick up girls. Yes, being able to talk is VERY important. Think about it. Unless you come across the RARE exception and find a girl that can and WANTS to carry a convo on her own, you HAVE to talk. But, the fact is, girls want AN INTERESTING guy. And you can't show you're interesting . . . unless you talk. They want interesting, funny, and confident. All that is shown through you talking to her and watching your body language. Not talking is DLV to be completely honest. That's what all the wallflower AFC's do. |

I never said not talking. I mean being as social, laughing, making people laugh, being c/f, without having to be someone I'm not. It has to be possible, why else would girls love House's persona so much? |

LOL, because House IS C & F. He IS the center of attention. He's the leader. I love House myself. I'm actually a lot like him. Sometimes too much like him, lol. I have blown girls out many times because sometimes I just too damn cocky. I wouldn't mind being the center of attention, and I love being c/f. But like him, I'd rather say what needs to be said in a few meaningful witty words. I'm not at all implying "can I be an anti-social PUA?" god no. I'm just wondering if his persona is realistic. He's no story teller. He's just straight forward, the way I naturally am. |

modeling yourself after an alpha is good but to model yourself after one person is no good. As far as House goes. Its a good show & hes a good alpha...In my opinion a good "at work alpha" model. He takes charge and does what he needs to do & says what he needs to say. BUT in a social environment, House would get AMOG'd & get blown out so easily. Simply because I'd imagine him all pissed looking & quiet. I wouldnt want to talk to him or anyone like that & im sure girls would feel the same. Being sarcastic is funny but if you dont smile , you come off as insulting. Anyway, getting side tracked here.. JUSTINcredible! "talk talk talkyty talk talk" |

Well I was just using him as an example of course. Not that I would model myself after him as a whole, just some of his traits. Quote: BUT in a social environment, House would get AMOG'd & get blown out so easily.
Yeah, I guess I forgot that outside of work, he doesn't have much of a social life. Simply because I'd imagine him all pissed looking & quiet. I wouldnt want to talk to him or anyone like that & im sure girls would feel the same. |

I think what would fit you best is a largely C & F persona. However to restate your question, its not a matter of extremely. You have to be talkative, and can do this without rambling. This may still require you to leave your comfot zone. Remember that what you say is not as important as how (and when) you say it. As long as your guideing the conversation then you are alpha. I have friends who as AFC as anyone can be and wont shut up. I have other friends who are much more natural with women and say very little. Lead the conversations, apply C&F to them, toss negs out and when the convo dies (or slightly before it) you guide it in another direction. A very sutble but reassuring way to tell if your holding the frame, i noticed this myself and decided it may be a great indicator... If you are speaking with more then one person, you can tell if you are holding the frame if... -People are faceing your direction -People make statements, then glance at you (as if looking for validation) -When people respond, they face you, direct the response to you, and/or make eye contact while speaking. Obviously these dont Mean for sure that you are holding the frame, but they could be good indicators. For instance at a bar last week id start a convo, let the girls tlak a bit, and during it check these things. They are faceing me with their feet and shoulders are squared to me. They are responding to each others statements as if they are responding to something i just said. They say something to someone, pause and glance at me, then keep going. (sometimes i validate, sometimes i neg) The biggest indicator was that at almost any point i could say anything and the direction of the convo would change. So you dont have to ramble for you to be alpha or hold a frame, just say the right things at the right times, and tailor your game to your naturally strong traits. If your usually witty and good with one liners, go C&F...if your great at telling stories stick with routines and such like in MM. Mix it up or go all out in one area, whatever works for you. Good luck hope this helps. |
